I know who will get my vote, after 12 years of no more boom and bust prudent budget. with lots of stealth tax and the erosion of my pension. It won't be flash Gordon.

I cannot emphasise how wrong you are.

Spoiling your ballot paper is a protest. You may find it to be a reasonable way of expressing your discontent at the offerings available to you.

Voting for the BNP signifies your endorsement of fascism and bigotry. Worse still, if enough people protest there is a real danger that we will give them enough votes to win some marginal seats here and there, and that will not only legitimise them but also give them a platform from which to further spout their offensive rhetoric. This is not a hypothetical fear: the BNP has a seat on the London Assembly. As a society, we should be ashamed.

You might not agree with the Labour or Tory line on various policies. But personally, I disagree far more strongly with the BNP's beliefs/policies that mixed race relationships are immoral and abnormal, that the Holocaust did not happen, that we should ban all Muslims from flying to/from this country, and that homosexuals should be treated with the same contempt as rapists and !!!!!philes.

Seriously, where do people get the idea that it's acceptable to vote for the BNP as a "protest"? Do you have no idea what they actually stand for?
  • Just how would bnp fill up all those doctors jobs?We woud only have 1 out of every ten doctors and consultants left.

Never mind what the state of english football would be with only white players.

No matter whom we vote for we will be like prince philip making love to his old lady , royally fxcked for years.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

From 1997 onwards it seems that Labour wanted to become Tories and Tories wanted to be Labour. The party I intend to vote for has an N in the middle, a B at the front and a P to finish off with.

Don't be stupid, be a smarty, come and join the Nazi Party!

  • It won't matter a jot if you vote Labour or the Tories. Both are idiots that talk a lot of warm air whilst looking after them rather than constituents. The voting system in this country is too 19th century and needs radical reform before I'll take it seriously. The main 2 parties are too much in a comfort zone.

I think you would be better off leaving the country until the mess made by Labour has been sorted .Where to and for how long is the tricky question.
That's the problem though isn't it? We are in a world recession despite what the tories are saying. It was the sub prime disaster in America that started off a chain reaction and the rest of the world is suffering because of it.

It makes me shudder to the core when I hear people saying they'll vote BNP.

How stupid and ill educated are people? I guess I need not really ask that question.

Good grief, I suggest you read some history books. Or if you have the capacity, a few issues of Private Eye's exposes on the disgusting BNP. A protest vote they are not, they are a vote for hate, bigotry and their party, by it's very nature, should be made illegal in UK law.

    Totally second agsnu words above.

Agree with the above but I didn't think theGringe meant vote for BNP as a protest vote when he said

...and who said anything about voting for them as a protest?
I am seriously amazed that anyone sees Gordon Brown and New Labour, as an alternative to even the Monster Raving Loony Party.
Wake up, smell the coffee, have a look at what "the best Chancellor this Country has seen" ( quote fromTony Bliar) has done for you, your children and their children's children and get real.
