Dont give people false hope, It depends on the customers CLC what they get as a loyalty bonus.

I've always wondered: What does a mobile company consider 'high value customers'?

Phoned T moby a few days ago, offered £16.50, Nokia 5800, 100min and 100 txt + unlimited web.
Ended up requesting PAC, no call backs to beg me to stay either.

Monthly spend about £19-20 (although I have another phone on the same bill, £35ish per month).
  • Just because you requested a PAC code doesnt mean T-Mobile will contact you and beg you to stay.

It is an automated system that determines the value of a customer - just because your are on a price plan @ £60 doesnt mean your a high value / but youcan get really good deals because a new customer starting on T-Mobile gets offered great deal if they are paying that price ( its called a DIRECT MATCH POLICY

Many factors seem to be taken into account 1- if you exceed your bill each month, 2- how much of your allowance you use 3- who you call (network) 4- who calls you (network) 5- if you have an benefits on your account eg. free weekend calling, free off-poeak calling, half price line rental ect. having features like these where you have already potentially majorly benefited the past 12-18mths does tend to reduce your customer value (spend) for your next upgrade

You may find that when you are next due to upgrade if you are willing to sacarfice a free benfit you had previously that the agent can offer you more when its upgrade time.
