    Hi

I need to try to start sticking to a menu now DS2 is back at uni cos we seem to be wasting a lot of food

Mon Toad in the hole with veg
Tues Jacket pots, cheese and baked beans
Wed Stew beef in gravy and veg
Thurs Something simple because OH is working late and eating out
Fri Bacon, egg and baked beans
Sat Pork chop, mash and veg
    Sun Lamb, roasties and veg

I have decided just to put veg (so I can buy what looks nicest and of course is a bargain) that leaves me open to using up what needs using first.
Lunches will be sandwiches, toast or leftovers and breakfast cereal or toast
I've written my shopping list as I've gone along so hopefully I won't buy anything I don't need (unless I see any real bargains)

    Have a good week everyone

Buy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning
