When are you most likely to impulse buy?

My impulse buy is usually food. I work part-time in a supermarket and see soooo many things when i'm working that i think "oooh i have to try that" and even when i make a set list to buy I can't help but buy something else!! I used to do my food shopping online which was much better because you only buy what you can list and maybe a couple of special offers because you can't see the aisles. Can't afford to do it anymore though, i don't have enough money to buy food in a bulk shop!!

I should never have got a store card either, i owe less that £100 on it but its so easy to order on the internet with it and not even leave the house!!!

Books, but I am looking to join the library again. I also used to spend a lot on my pets, but I've now decided that they'd rather have my attention than my money, so that's what they are getting.

i buy when i am bored or when someone has upset me i am cutting this down though by not taking my purse with me anywhere seems to be working :rolleyes:

i tend to visit ebay while bored at work - end up buying LOTS of things i don't need.

I must get round to re-selling some of the useless things i've bough....

Also, to follow on from shellybelly. Keep your internet OFF if you like a drink now and again and like buying stuff off ebay.

I used to have random packages coming to my house only to realise that I actually bidded and won it on ebay the week before.

Anything depending on my mood!! Definately food; used to get loads of expensive facial stuff/body lotion (boots loved me!!) ...crap in Tesco (must do a proper food thingy!) love books (but will now buy from amazon! & anything really! I used to get this physical need to buy something (almost panic!) & would hunt until I got it (amlost like a challenge) but have stopped that..now get a buz when I sell something & actually felt quite overwhelmed when I went to a big boots (really bright lighting I noticed for the first time ever!) so feel I am well on the way...not cured but one the way. Feels great doesnt it!
