    KEEP ME AWAY FROM BOOTS!!!

I always go in there thinking 'I will buy the shampoo on offer and get some advantage card points' and end up spending £30-£40!

When I'm being too lazy to cook, ordering a takeaway.
Also in Tescos, I usually end up with little extras that cost far more than what I originally went in for.

have you rejoined your local library? I used to be really iffy about borrowing books from the library because I like to own them and lend them to people and have them on my shelves... I'd also got thoroughly put off libraries as fun places through 4 years at uni.

But I got over myself, joined the library, and haven't spent a penny on the thirty or so books I've read since. Our mums were right when they marched us off there as kids!

My biggest impulse buy is clothes and shoes.. but getting a lot better that I used to be.. BUT for some reason I feel more inclined to buy if I'm with friends or family.. when i'm with myself I reason that I don't actually really need that top or jeans.. but when friends are there I get carried away and end up buying.. Not been into town as much lately though thankfully!

My worst time is nearing the end of the month (like now) when we've done quite well the whole month and have a bit left over, which should either go into the savings or off the credit card, but I seem to think that I've done so well I must surely deserve something, like this week, spent £20 in Primark, at least I got 4 tops for my money, as my summr wardrobe is in dire straits! (conveniently forgetting that money situation also in dire straits!!).

and it is usually on clothes... but also have slight problem with when I can't be bothered to cook, and we're both shattered, the fish and chip shop starts calling out to me... :p
