[title=http://images2.moneysavingexpert.com/images/dp/wtd_underline.gif]wtd_icon.gif What's the deal?[/title]

A special promotion from SimplifyDigital means you can get 25% off most Three mobile Mix & Match phone contracts.

The discount applies for the length of the contract (all are 18 months), and since you get a new phone too, it can make for great value packages.

[title=http://images2.moneysavingexpert.com/images/dp/wtd_underline.gif]wtd_icon.gif How to get the discount[/title]

To get the 25% off, click through to the Three Mobile site via the special link below, and shop as normal. Once you click 'buy now', you'll go through to a checkout page with a box asking for a promotional code. Enter the code '[FONT=&quot]ezp21[/FONT]' to apply the discount.
SimplifyDigital 3 Mix & Match Promo Page*
The cheapest package that qualifies is the basic 'Mix & Match 300' package, which comes in at just £10.93 a month after the discount, though there's also a £1.95 admin charge when you sign up.

This gets you a decent-if-not-amazing handset from the big range on offer, and 300 units to split between minutes and texts (ie you could use 100 mins and 200 texts, or 250 texts and 50 minutes, or any other combination amounting to 300).

You also get an extra 300 3-to-3 minutes, and as ever with Three, free voicemail and unlimited access to Skype and Windows messenger.

You can also use the discount on the contracts offering 700, 900 & 1,100 of minutes or texts (and you still get a choice of free handset, and there might be funkier options on these pricier contracts)

Out of bundle costs

Outside of inclusive minutes, costs are pretty standard and straightforward: 12p/min to landlines & mobiles, and 12p/text. Prices for video calls are considerably higher at around 50p, but lets face it barely anyone uses that anyway.

Sadly the 25% off code won't work on either the 'promotional 100' package, or the discounted 'Mix & Match 500' package (unless you opt for a more expensive handset).

This offer is likely to end 12 October, so go soon if you want to take it.

Whether this 3 deal is the best for you will depend on your usage habits, so use comparison sites like Onecompare*, MobilePhoneChecker* and Moneysupermarket* to see what else fits before signing your life away.

This deal is only gives you 25% of the monthly plan cost, not the extra part for having a non standard handset.

So if you pick a phone on the £18 plan that actually costs £21 - you only get 25% off of £18 not the full £21.
  • I have just started applying for the 25% offer and used the '3' live chat field to ask a question about transferring my current mobile number from Vodafone. The customer service chappy said that he could offer me a promo code and I told him that I had one already and gave him the details. He advised that this code shows on the on screen basket but would not be applied to the bills that I would receive over the 18 months 'as it is not valid'. Does anyone else have any experience of this?

Well I've just ordered two handsets (one pink & one silver) and taken a screen grab of the order, which quite clearly states that my monthly cost is £10.93. Both are scheduled to arrive on Saturday, so I'll report back what the paperwork says.

I too spoke with the online chat, and they offered me another code for £20 of accessories, but that didn't work with my existing code from MSE.

However the order confirmation email does have £15 as the monthly. However their main promotion is £13.50 for the Mix&Match 500, so could always fall back to that if they don't play ball.

    Hi All.

I started to place and order using this code and asked a question to sale representative via online chat. I have just been told the 25% code illegitimate and will not get this off the bill.

Does anyone know the whether this is correct?

wouldnt trust live help, they get commision, they told me my unlocked n95 wouldnt work with data services from three only calls and txts

and they could offer me a great deal on a new n95, yeah right, con artists
  • I hope everyone has fun, fighting customer services when their discounts dont appear. It may be valid but 1 hand never knows what the other is doing at 3.
  • Guess What? It Does Work

Orderred my Nokia E71 on wednesday. Mix & Match 300 tariff which is usually 20 pounds a month, obviously with the 25% off equates to 15 pound a month on a 18 month contract. Had 3 emails from three ranging from:
    "we've recieved your order"
"your three order has been processed"
"your three order is on its way"

First two showing the reduced monthly amount of 15 pounds per month.

Delivery was before 1pm friday by Royal Mail, actually arrived at 12.20pm

Opened the parcel and paperwork shows

    Qty Item
    1 Nokia E71 Steel Grey
1 25% Off Your Price Plan
    1 Video Pack with mobile

Price for the package on the basis that you connect to Three for a 18 month contract

So there you go, be positive and give it a go!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive been with O2 for donkey's years n thought i'd give Three a go ( my brother and mates swear by them)
Excellent deals so hoping the next 18 month are as good as o2 of which i have just left

Did i get to mention the phone? Well its on charge as i speak, believe its a crackin piece of kit

Happy three shopping n remember you can always call me with those free 200 three to three inclusive minutes :rotfl:

Well done Three & Royal Mail for an excellent transaction
