    :beer: Yeah, I'm on mine right now. Very pleased with it. Lovely screen. Wireless works flawlessly. Sat here listening to MP3s streaming over the network from my desktop in the bedroom, nice sound on headphones. Had to install new Synaptics drivers to get the scroll function to work in Firefox, but that seems like a known issue and was no trouble. Only major issue I could see with this is if you need a long battery life, but let's not forget that it costs £299! This is a seriously good laptop for that money, IMO. No qualms about build-quality here either. Seems pretty solid I reckon.

    You can also apply for a free Vodafone mobile connect 3G data card which is suposse to be worth £199

    Thinking I could give the children the desktop pc- get rid of my broadband and sit in bed and surf the web?

    But coulsd I do better-cheap?

    this is a smaller screen than the tesco one , it only has 14.1 inch, the tesco one is 15
