Laptops and notebooks are exactly the same thing (not to be confused with NETbooks obviously), only difference being manufacturers generally don't call them laptops any more due to the fact that using one in your lap causes heat issues (let alone potential lawsuits from people suffering heat related injuries from a product they called a LAPtop)
Give me a link to a site in which a manufacture calls a 15"+ laptop a notebook! In fact some manufactures call smaller laptops.. mini laptops:rolleyes:0 -

Hi,
I've been looking for a laptop under £450 (for internet, watching dvd's, storing music/photo's, with webcam - all fairly basic stuff). As I was given vouchers John Lewis at Christmas it makes sense for me to use them for this, even though John Lewis don't have a great selection. When I went to look, the saleman was really pushing this one:
Packard Bell EasyNote Butterfly M-EU-003

Its over my budget at £499 but as Dixons & PC World are selling it at £450 I'm hoping JL will price match. However I've struggled to find reviews about it online so not sure what its really like! Does anyone have any ideas? Or do you think an alternative would be better?
Thanks in advance!0 -
Just a couple of examples from a very quick Google cos I'm not gonna argue about it:
