  • I'm not to keen on Apple - tends to be more expensive
  • Well I've just followed Martin's original link to PC World, "EI SYSTEM VIA 1.0GHZ PROCESSOR" which is now showing price inc vat £299.97 (HURRAH), but not surprisingly "Temporarily Out of Stock".

    Oh well !

Whats the best Centrino or decent battery lifed P4 i can get for 1100 Inc VAT?

Ive looked at Mesh, they have a kick !!!!!! P4 laptop in price range but battery life is 32 mins.

Im told centrino has like 4 hours or so life which would be better but i am after at least 2 hours life with a charge.

  • On rocks site some of them can take a second battery in the floppy slot , missus.

But they are essentially dtr (desktop replacements) for the gamer on the move , so battery life would be poor is an understatement.

I only started checking out rock after lots of satisfied customers statements , and of course they won som eserious reviews too. They have 3yr warranty as standard , some charge more like dell and laptopsdirect and yet the screen isnt covered etc.
