Lots of you have mentioned Greggs. Am I the only one here who, on going to a new town, spends maybe half an hour sizing-up the local bakers and avoiding Greggs like the plague?
I really don't understand why they are popular.
well, you must be odd
half an hour to choose what is basically a snack :eek:0 -
I'm looking at busy prosperous market towns. You know, a greggs opened here not too long ago and the place is rammed all day every day. Now presumably the growth phase for traditional balkers was crica 1700, yet here we have one come along and reap rewards.
You will be in local butcher land for sure, check what they do or you could end up flogging a dead horse.
(without knowing your supplier you may be anyway:))0 -

I knew a burger bar, now gone, probably rated and H&S'd out by the council, used to serve real steak burgers in proper rolls with home made sauces like chilli, mexican, etc. Delicious and cheap. Plus atmosphere, rock music, nice people. And yet, people still go and buy a limp piece of utter !!!!!! from Macdonalds.
Makes no sense.0 -

Yes, set myself a new income stream challenge and it's taking me 10 hours/day ... every day. Plus 2-3 hours research/thinking/working time.
Not eaten for two days, head's in a mess, probably starving but don't feel it ... and still a lot of work to do. On the up side, earnt 51p from that income stream today ... residual incomes, who'd have 'em!
So the next time somebody on £80k tells me they work hard for their money ... I'm going to get in my car, hunt them down like an animal and ....0 -
