My word, quite the little charmer today, aren't you old bean.

I've a couple of quotes for you "old chum"

"Bitterness is like cancer. It eats upon the host"

    or how about

"Growth in wisdom may be exactly measured by a decrease in bitterness "

Must dash - some of my "little ragamuffins" need teaching.....

I'm not bitter, I just hate Socialism - y'know Mao, Stalin, Hitler etc.

    Enjoy teaching your 'little ragamuffins'.

    Toodle pip ;-o

    Not really.

There is a whole slew of statistics from Government debt to output to Sterling values which can show that Labour Governments are appalling and
    Tory ones are less so.

Anyone who is over the age of 30 and still voting Labour is at best a misguided fool and at worst supporting despotism.

Good to see the Tory party now have the backing of such an intellectual heavyweight as the Sun

  • i can't be bothered to read any of this because I am the Horse of Truth. I will just say that Labour are going to be destroyed at the polls. they won't see govt again for decades.

and good riddance to them. never have so few caused so much grief, misery and disaster.

Where is Ben Elton now? going on relentlessly about thatcher. What about Labour sleaze? what about blair and brown?

what about the poll tax riots? where were the CT riots. a far higher and oppressive tax?

stupid hateful lefties. get back to your cardigan wearing lentil eating coffee shop and don't go anywhere near govt again.

If I were in charge I would have a Govt Lefty, that would be consulted on all issues. We would then do the exact opposite.

Well it only took them 12 years to realise they were supporting the wrong side!

I'm sure there will be a price. David Cameron wants to get rid of a lot of quangos starting with Ofcom which will be good for the Murdochs business

It seems you and your fellow Aussies are taking an unhealthy interest in UK affairs icon7.gif

I do enjoy your posts, Generali - you remind me of my dad, who's another Tory who I have total respect for.

That said, I politely (more politely than you, with your 'misguided fools' dig ) think you're wrong.

You're right about the British weather, though.

That said, does anywhere do a fine autumn day as well as England?

Anyone who spends their life on a board which has been wrong about house prices, wrong about inflation and is probably wrong about the next election is probably in no position to call anyone a fool. However, I will give you this - your pseudo intellectual waffle is off a very high quality:T.

Only loons think that Hitler was a socialist. Just because his party had a particular word in it's title does not make that party that thing. Jeez. Presumably Generali thinks the German Democratic Republic (East Germany) was a Democracy because it had "Democratic" in it's title?
