Just make sure you have cancelled with mobiles.co.uk properly.

One possible thing (I thought but not sure) if phone turns, you could refuse to accept it maybe but some earlier thread suggested mobiles.co.uk sort of activate the sim on the day they send it or the day you receive. In essence not wait for you to do it yourself. In which you are in a contract with 14 days to return.

For your own safety - wait and get this ordered sorted out first before placing other order (with Orange or whoever).

Plus if the phone does turn up before you can (or cannot) cancel the order, do not open the box. Just arrange a return within 14 days to ensure you are not tied to any contract.

No it won't affect your credit rating or anything like that and you could always mention it to Orange anyway.
