PALS - Patient Advice and Liaison Service. If you've got a problem you phone them and they try and sort it.

We were given a number for PALS to call about transport but they couldn't help.....

We've complained about the consultant to the medical company that are dealing with the insurance. They were gobsmacked that he didn't even have DH's notes or MRI details.....the Dr asked 3 times what the problem was as he wrote it down wrong....gives you so much hope for an accurate report eh!

Gems - To be honest we haven't looked at DLA. I will have a look tomorrow when my brain's functioning.

It's all such a ruddy minefield of who/what/where/when....

It'll all sort itself out though I'm sure.

Just put dinner on, OH home late again cos of work and doing a private job...I don't mind, it means he has a lil more money and we get a few nicer things. A very OS/DFW/LSD dinner today, is what's in cupboards and freezer. So it's cheese and onion quiche, jacket spud and beans for OH, jacket spud with beans for me.

Uni is ok, nearly killed me yesterday. Library is just too big and full of people, trying to sort out loan kit (laptop and dictaphone) but I had to go back today. Lady I was was fantastic. Is arranging a short term loan until I get my medical diagnosis confirmation letter copied by the dr's (phoned up and I should be able to get it Thursday) Told her I as nearly crying cos I was so frsutrated and paranoid and freaked out by the people in library and it is the main thing that gets to me..everywhere I go, someone is there! But she said once I have my letter and my loan appointment then I should geti t on long term and get a card that gets me into the assisted learning space....should be quieter and a lot better for me.

What's an LSD dinner? I can't work that one out...

I hope things at uni get sorted, mine were totall useless, especially with mental health problems. Yours sounds a bit more clued up though.
