LSD - Low Spend Day dinner.....cos I spend today for lunch as there was nothing in the house.

Ames - uni's access thing is quite easy to get to, think they're gunning to help cos I keep getting highly emotional and highly strung (which is mainly to do with the BPD) and also as it is a recognised (by my psych) part of my condition

I have bipolar and was laughed at for saying their actions were affecting my mental health. The Open University suits me much more as far as support goes, I just wish the academic standards and support were higher.

Ah, low spend dinner makes sense!

I don't like being penalised for independent research, and the way marking is so vastly different between tutors. Also, I prefer (and do better at) exams, but it's mainly essay based. And I don't like how all the courses are so wide reaching, you don't get to study anything in depth.

I think it's a lot more that some uni's dont understand MH disorders, Ames, I'm quite lucky where I am as it's a relatively new uni (less than 10 or 20 years) and they have quite a few students with handicaps of some form (and an obscene amount of dyslexic students who are only after top of the range laptops IMHO) But I genuinely want to be able to do the work, and cos I live a train ride away, it's easier for me to stay in uni during gaps and do work, or go to the cafe, get a drink and plug myself in and do work, as I won't consciously notice those around me iyswim

Ah, mine was a fairly 'traditional' uni - they even said that getting another student to use my mini disc recorder to tape lectures for me would be against health and safety! I think it was my illnesses too - ME and mental health disorders are easy for them to ignore, out of sight out of mind kind of thing.

    Evening...
Have had a lovely afternoon, walked to town, went to post office, actually managed to find boots for Bea...£40  but hey has saved me £10 in petrol going to the other shop I normally go to. Cooked a nice healthy tea, had stories and bedtime snuggles and house is tidy :)

Oh's hob interview went well, if he gets the job im not sure he has fully thought the logistics through! We will see though

Just relaxing and watching Gok now...happy days!
