The Yorkshire Bank one has been designed by the artist Ashley Jackson. There was a picture of it on the BBC website last week:

Oh that looks rather posh. Are all customers getting a new debit mastercard then? Any ideas?

I've been with YB for over 3 1/2 years and I have the dual Maestro card with 19 digits! The number on the card has no spacing, so I have it written down all ''spaced'' for when I use it online!
Not heard about any updates to the card as yet, but any news from them by mail I will update;)

It looks like there going down to 16 digits

Debit Cards issued after September 2009
I’ve received my new debit card and it looks different to my old card, why is this?

We’ve updated your card to reduce your card number from 19 digits to 16 digits. Your sort code and account number are also displayed in a more prominent position.

Didn't maestro used to be a combination of your sort code and account number or was that just HSBC? My maestro card shows the usual 6759 then sort code and account number, i.e. 6759 404040 12345678
