It is very nice to see someone who has asked for advice to come back and give us the outcome.

    Well done.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

Always nice to see the final result after getting advice.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Thanks for comments, first time i tried tiling so i was pretty chuffed with it, especially as i had to cut 70% of the tiles!!

Am wanting to do something to the walls really, thought about plastering, but seemed very complicated, and i've obviously not tried it before. I just wanted to make it seem as much like 'inside' as possible, and the bricks always remind me that it's outside!!

Nice job. I have to say, I like the way the bricks look as they are!
  • just an idea, would it not be better on top of that shelf so you dont have to bend down?

Washing machines are heavy and contain a breeze block and also vibrate so it would be unwise to keep it above ground height. Putting a dryer may be okay assuming it can take the weight

    Nice job, looks good.

Is that a water meter low down on the wall (now behind the washer?). That's not going to be easy to read now!

Yeah, it is a meter, it feeds out the wall behind it to an electric wall mounted one, so i can just read that :j

Am trying to 'source' a cupboard to go on the wall, is it possible to get a single wall mounted kitchen cupboard and mount it singularly? I know that might sound strange but i don't really know how they work
