The news we were all dreading has been confirmed. RM are going on a national strike: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8296660.stm
On the plus-side, they have to give 7 days notice before doing it.
Also, they can't start for another 10 days from now, they're stil trying to force a deal through.Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

Very annoying! I have devoted today to sorting and photographing stuff for Ebay...
Dave are you sure they can't start for 10 days?Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

It said something about it on the BBC page. They keep changing the page as new info gets released though.Dave are you sure they can't start for 10 days?
ETA: Found it
But it did say something like "for 10 days they're going to try to sort the situation out". And they definitely have to announce the strike 7 days before it comes into force. He said it would give the Royal Mail a "final opportunity" to resolve the dispute over the next 10 days.Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

In order to help small businesses, eBay said it would temporarily remove the option for buyers to rate sellers on the time taken to dispatch an item.0 -

I am sorry for a moment there it looked like Ebay might be using common sense. But I think I must have misread it.0 -

The Government will have to get involved if this strike goes ahead. If not it will be the beginning of the end for Royal Mail.To Dare is To Do:beer:0
