Sainsburys - new Till Coupons

Double Nectar points on our next shop! Better make it a big 'un

I got...
75p of a £4 spend on bottled water,
75p off a £5 spend on fruit/veg/salads/herbs,
50p off a £3 spend on bread/cakes/bakery
75p off a £4 spend on milk/cream/yoghurt
75p off a £5 spend on crisps, snacks and nuts
50p off a £3 spend on cheese

I also got a slip saying... Get £2 toward your Christmas shop every week when you spend £20 instore. Between 04/11/09 and 16/12/09 each time you spend £20 instore you'll receive a £2 coupon to spend the week before Christmas. (then some T+Cs plus that its for a max of 6 coupons will be issued per customer). Someone else got a £4 off a £40 spend equivalent on here the other day...

I've not spent much in Sainsb's recently to be honest and when I do its rarely over £20 - I only shop for me and tend to shop around as I have loads of supermarkets nearby or on my route to/from work.

On saturday we got loads, whereas the last 2 weeks we got none and the first week we got a pathetic 30p off cream when we don't use the stuff!!

This week however we got a double points, a 10 off £100 shop (We spend usually around £85-110, and smaller amounts off dairy products, soft drinks and something else. All ones we will actually use.

I didn't know anything about these and went through the till without the sa saying anything, then I joined my husband in his queue, and noticed the machine with about about 50 coupons attached and spewed out from it. I grabbed a couple of dozen then the sa threw the rest on the floor. I have 3 x double nectars, £5 off £50 shopping, and blueberries and bread, milk, and lord knows what else. I don't go there that often - went in to bag a bargain shredder and laminator reduced to £10 , I'll probably give them away at work tomorrow.

Usually only spend £40 - £60!

I got 1 x double points and AM impressed. It's all on top of normal points, vouchers etc. I use my NECTAR AMEX card to shop at Sainsburys & petrol etc (loads of extra points) and pay it off weekly so no charges. Have collected 40,000 points (£200) for Xmas - yippee :j

The good thing about these double points vouchers now is that the points go on instantly as the checkout staff now scan them at the till instead of sending them off to nectar, so no more waiting 28 days!!

I only spent over £100 that day & that is rare! I bought clothes & all the household stuff had run out at the same time!

Still it's good & I do my big shop at sainsburies.

I have finally received my first ever Sainsbury till coupon. It was on Sunday morning at the Finchley Road branch in London. We just popped in for some milk and I had completly forgotten about them. I used the self service tills and then notices the printers from Jakejakejake's earlier post. After the paying by credit card the till coupon spat out of the printer. I used my Nectar card. I saw one other person getting a till coupon which I think was £6 off spend, gutted I only got double Nectar points! For those of you that have not seen them I have scanned in my coupon.

Unfortunately as a newbie I'm not allowed to post the image of my scanned coupon. I have uploaded it to tinypic, so if somebody else wants to message me I can give you the link and then you could upload it for other users.

What other coupons have people received and do you receive them every shop? I'm torn now as I like the Morrisons paper coupon offer but I might get good coupons from Sainsburys as well.
