gonna print off some xmassy pictures for the kids to colour and leave for santa
a magic key
t'was the night before xmas book
then ds has a thomas the tank torch (for scattering the reindeer food)
and a toy story alien pillow
dd will have a princess/dora/fif torch
and a fairy pillow
so far i only have the pillows, ds's torch and a jar for the cookie mix! lol but ive started!
dh suggested starting a tradition of getting a new game for xmas eve every year too but cant think what?! ds will be almost 3 (on the 29th december) and dd will be 22months any ideas? they already have elefun and pop up pirate and im thinking something along these lines that we can all play together?0 -
We had games last year, but my kids are older, lol, i found a duck shooting thing (like you see at the fair!) and some brain thing that says if you are lying or not.
How about hungry hippos? Or perhaps a kids dvd quiz?Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok

I love the idea of a xmas eve hamper....usually my 2 just get a giant choc coin , some new pj;s and a new book (from the elves, that visit nightly to make sure they are behaving) I think i might make it into a hamper and add some extra bit this year. I could tell my eldest he must of been extra good to get all the extra's, my youngest is onyl 2 so she will be fine. Loving all the ideas! Thank you0

we have a craft thing in ours....eldest will be making a Santa stop here sign & youngest will do some simple paper sticking.
then the usual: toothbrush, PJ's, lush bath bomb, a charlie & a lola mini face cloth, mug (reused from last year), hot chocolate, DVD, popcorn, some kind of chocolate, reindeer food.
I do like the glow stick idea.
we do them for everyone in the house (got my parents visiting this year so they will get one) & they arrive whilst we are eating lunch, then DD (will be 5 by Xmas) has to go & get something from the bedroom where she discovers them.
I wanted to get the glow sticks when I saw them in Sainsburys but if you wait till after Halloween I bet they will be reduced:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
