  • :jMy tickets for Polo's Timeless Film Festival arrived today, I guess my local post office is not part of strike, so hopefully everyone will receive theirs within the next few days. Really looking forward to it now, hope its Top Gun as taking hubby as my guest and other films likely to bore him silly. Wonder what the goody bag will contain??
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:
  • I live near Portsmouth and it said the screening was fully booked, however they still automatically enter you into a draw to win a trip to New York which is pretty good :)
  • I received my tickets today, we seem to have post which is cool.

Thanks to the op. Can't wait for this event and hope the goodie bag is fabulous! Hoping for Sex and the City, Bridget Jones or Mamma Mia as those are the films my best friend likes and he's coming with.

    An Education
In the early 1960\'s, Britain is about to come of age, and emerge from the strait-laced austerity of the post-war period into a decade of free spirits and free love. For one young girl, torn between studying for a place at Oxford and the attractions of a charismatic older man, it is time for An Education. With a screenplay written by Nick Hornby, adapted from a memoir by journalist Lynn Barber, An Education is captivating coming-of-age story, dripping with the atmosphere of the sixties. Starring Peter Sarsgaard, Rosamund Pike, Emma Thompson and Carey Mulligan, it is released in cinemas on October 30 but Times+ members can watch it at our exclusive previews at 11am on Sunday, October 25.

Just received our pair of tickets for the 29th.

I don't know whether to go with OH or my daughter?! Can't see OH sitting through Grease if it's that and can't see daughter sitting through Top Gun if it's that.

What rating are all the movies anyway, does anyone know?
