I was thinking Top Gun was a man film.. it's all blokes, sexy women getting it on with Tom Cruise, buddy relationships, cars,bikes and planes...

I'm also thinking those on here desperate to see it on the big screen must be quite young.. :0 so now feeling ancient


Top Gun seen it on big screen, actually gave me a headache as my cinema had just had new stereo sound in and thought that meant LOUUUUUDDDD!!
Grease seen it on big screen
Love Actually seen it on big screen
Sex and The City seen it on dvd dont fancy it again
Pride and Prejudice not my cuppa chai
Atonment seen on dvd - lousy imo
Devil Wears Prada seen it loads on tv n dvd
50 First Dates seen it a few times on tv
Mamma Mia dont fancy this one iota
Bridget Jones seen on big screen

My Choice was 50 First Dates as I like the film and have never seen it on the big screen

BTW if Top Gun wins I will have 2 free tix available folks..cant abideTom Cruise and I cant remember why I actually went at the time lol

Thing is, we won't know until we get to the cinema (so it says), so this should be fun.

If top gun, OH wants to watch it with me.

If grease, daughter wants to watch it with me.

Any other film, then it's divided between them.


I can see the 3 of us going, then one of them will have to sit in the car on their own to wait for us :rotfl:


I think it will be Top Gun or Grease.

They aren't for the film you picked. They are for the cinema you picked and we won't know what film it is yet as there will be only one film showed throughout.

Whichever film gets the most votes is the film that will be shown.

How odd. I didnt actually get a choice of cinema. They may have picked it by postcode but I dont know where the cinema is in Acton and dont drive. It is quite feasible that one further away could be easier to get to.

I chose Top gun, then 3 cinemas came up.

One was my local one, one was about 10 miles away but I couldn't choose that as all tickets had been allocated, and there was another cinema but I didnt even notice properly where that was one as I was chuffed to be able to choose my local cinema.

Maybe there was only 1 cinema in your area running the promotion, so that's why you had no choice??

Next to my cinema it said 'in conjunction with Dane, Wirral', which is the VW dealer in my area (it's a VW promotion isn't it).

Just got this is an email addressed from my local VW dealer:

My cinema is oversubscribed for Bridget Jones but have been given an entry into a prize draw which I am happy with : )
