Hey, i don't know if i'm posting in the right place but i'm wondering if any curvy ladies could help me?
I'm looking for giant bras. I am blessed (more like stressed!) with 34H as a bra size but it kills me looking for bras, i am a super cheapskate and bra's tend to be in the range of £30+ (and people wonder why i don't own any matching sets!

I am only 20 so just need some young(ish) style big bras at a good price, would really have to be £10 or under as i'm a skint student!

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

Have you tried M&S? Prices start at £16, check if they have any voucher codes in the Discount board. I got 2 pretty bras the other day, they hoist my girls up like champions :rotfl:

Just listening to Jane Garvey on Radio 2 and the French researcher who recommends that we don't wear bras... Ha! I sleep in a soft bra most nights and I'm definitely less droopy than most women my age. I just feel so 'wrong' without a bra. Plus, when I was less arthritic I would probably have knocked myself out running for a bus bra-less. I was 38-27-36 back then.

Just got a lovey top for less than a tenner. Not much in stock and lots of green! Free delivery though, so that's a bonus.

I have to wear one, years ago I decided to go commando up there, and it was really painful, had to start wearing them again and even know if I don't wear it for more than 24hrs it hurts.

Jade1708, if you are in the North of England or Cumbria, the X-Catalogue Shops do outsize bras for under a tenner. Worth checking out.

Unfortunately I'm away up in Scotland.

Due to chop them off, would save me a lot of money in the long run as i miss the days of Primark £2.50 bras!

I find that Debenhams often have lovely bras sometimes on sale as low as £5 when there is a sale on, tried to order about 14 to date and every time the order gets cancelled.

Gonna go get re-measured (it's been a few years) and then go on an ebay spending spree i think and replace my bra collection :)

Thanks for all the advice ladies, it's much appreciated!

Have you ever tried TKMAXX, Jade1708? They have some really pretty bras in lots of 'odd' sizes - good and well known brands. Worth a regular mooch, as you can never be sure what they will have at any one time. And they never seem to have the bras hung up on the racks in their correct size places, so have a good root around in all the sizes.

Before going to get measured, go over to Mumsnet and search the threads for the 'bra interventions'. Many women are wearing the wrong size bra because they have been measured incorrectly. That thread has made a massive difference to me!
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???
