  • do you have a link for curvy? sounds interesting

buying from the US: vat is payable on purchases over £15, if detected, some are not, and it depends on the value declared on the parcel - the chinese are very 'conservative' about the value the put on the parcel ;), not so sure about the Americans

Their jumpers are lovely. They sell some Ax Paris branded stuff, worth comparing with them.

Pity that they have some silly terms about returns, like not refunding the original postage and not accepting returns for lingerie etc, as they are illegal under dsr.

Has anyone used Sized Well site before? They do use paypal so would use that to buy, but I've been after a replacement pair of cargo pants/combats and most of the womens I've found in my size are a pathetic wannabe styled version. ie doesn't look like a pair of combats.
Sized well is mens, but they have the following, which I've always wanted a proper pair of Blue ones.

I know I bought a pair of 48 jeans from Burtons which is a bit big, but trying to decide if i do 2xl in navy (worn size 44" - 48") or I have to settle with Khaki in 3xl. Wonder how much "give" there is. Idea of Khaki just makes me wanna pass on them.

Thanks for that, just went to have a look on there. What happened?? It just looks horrible for most of the stuff. I haven't been in an evans for a few months, and even then it was a "where are your vests?" (buys), but aside from not liking most patterns out this season/century, it's just horrible tents, or things on weird angles to supposedly fool you into a size 10, or weird shapes of dresses. o.O

The red devil eyed woman on the sale banner is off putting enough already!

Have to agree, Evans stuff is weird now. The only things I buy are bras and boots.

  • I haven't seen this site mentioned but as well as a fantastic range of bras ( in hard to find sizes) they now have a range of clothes. They are pricey ( but quality) and have 10% - 25% off off at the moment.
Lots of nightwear with some PJs at £10.
They have a £3.50 delivery charge and returns are not free but they provide an really quick service and Sally and her staff are very helpful if you phone them.
I've been using them for the past 3 years and even paid Sally a visit when I was in N Yorks, she was brilliant.
Never been without a well fitting Bra since!!!

It's. Amplebosom .com( sorry can't do links)

Totally agree with you. They recently sent me an email to complete some market research q's about how they could update their stock & website. The whole Evans exp is depressing for me: dowdy colours, shapeless clothes and plastic shoes that fall apart the 2nd time you wear them. 20% of uk women are size 18 and above it's about time they caught up with us and recognised that we aren't a commercial after thought. I look at the Evans site out of habit but hardly ever buy anything, I prefer Yours and ASOS, they have more up to date styles and colours but the quality can be a bit hit and miss tho. Thanks to all the lovely ladies here for sharing info on the plus size websites they find, you are a Godsend xxx
