They've got some gorgeous stuff in Nottingham - its one of their flagship stores so the range is bigger I think. Its quite hit and miss though - in some of the smaller stores the range can be rubbish. I buy quite a bit of stuff from there - I can usually find what I'm looking for*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

Pity they only go up to size 26 though0 -
I bought some Inspire sale stuff online, free delivery to store. I was very dubious it'd fit me because they only had 26. But I think their sizes are generous.
I can't work out if that's a recent thing, because I tried them way way back in the dark ages when I first saw plus stuff, and never felt the stuff I tried fitted nicely.
Wish I'd known their stuff does fit ok, I've been after cheap coloured jeans for a long time, and could've got some there pre-sale time.
Got a ovely white lace/purple dress that seems to be reasonably sized. (I went for biggest, and often get next size/two sizes up in some plus catalogue sizes) Also got a nice pair of jeans coloured, but only one pair
Will have to watch that section, because not a hope in my local store.0 -

It really is, soft lace also, rather than stiff/rough, really quite pleased it fitted. :j:j
Almost didn't buy it because of the size, then had thatmeh feeling waiting for it, in anticipation of it arriving with the thought it'd not fit.
okay question for the upper plus sized
what's the general consensus on leggings? Full length, not cropped. Usually wear them under dresses, and long tunics, with DM summer flowery sandals.
I've only recently gotten the confidence to even wear dresses, and aside from the forest needing hacked down with my legs (lazy!) I don't like going bare legged/issue of modesty for me.
I had a friend basically tell me that fat people shouldn't wear anything like short skirts, dresses, and such clothes that didn't cover them up ala tent style... We weren't talking about me, it just came up in a conversation that some "30 stone woman, at least, had a mini-skirt on, should be ashamed" etc.
There I was sat there in my shortish (knee length) dress, and leggings. I queried why it was ok for a thin girl to do it, and not a fat one. What about what I'm wearing?? "oh it's not the same, on you" was the reply, and got nothing else back.
Confidence wise, no I don't have sexy legs that are match to a models. I do have fat legs, follows the traditional leg shape, but all parts are fat. So I think well whether I wear jeans, or leggings, you can see the size/shape of my legs, but now I'm doubting even leggings are ok.
What about Tights? But then static problems!
Tights or Leggings?
It's not an option to not have either, so what can I do?0 -

Who says fat women should only wear flattering clothes, hiding our body?

I love it (although I'm not brave enough myself to dress outrageously..)0 -
Wear whatever you want! Don't be dictated to by anyone.
Re New look sizing, the trousers I bought are really big in waist and hips, which is strange because my hips are big, but the fall down if i don't tie the belt and i dont have to undo them to take them off they just fall off, weird because a pair of their trousers I've had for 2 years in the same size, won't even do up!Lose 28lb 3/28lb

What's going on with New Look stocks at the moment? I tried to buy some of the cheap £11.99 jeans but they only have skinny jeans and inside legs in 31/32 inch. I need a 30 inch leg max. I've got a spare pair in the drawer to tide me over, just wondering if I need to find another supplier.0

Can anybody please recommend a site where I can buy a white plus sized cami top or vest top with a lacy front or edge please? Average length of a t-shirt maybe. I have tried two plain vest tops but the straps are too narrow and they're not suitable.
I have a light see through patterned top I wish to wear to an anniversary party and need a cami style top underneath. But I now am in the top range of the plus sizes.
I can't wear a really strappy top because my bra straps will be visible.
And some of the tops are very short, the difference between the hem length of the cami and blouse are very noticeable.Always consider your actions wisely, think of others, do you really?
