  • Went to Ann Harvey closing down sale at local shopping centre. Staff told me that all shops were closing down. They are due to go by 31/3. Looked at some items and just checked online and they are cheaper in their website than they were in the store. Just thought I would let people know just before they spend more than they have to.

If anyone is still looking for a really warm, waterproof winter coat, the Lands End stadium squall coat has been reduced in the sale. Although it's listed as a 'parka', it is a full length coat. I got one of these a couple of years ago, and it is one of my best ever purchases. I've just bought a new one as I have lost quite a lot of weight and my old one is a bit too big now.

Bizarre question but I've got everyone on lookout and I thought I'd ask you lovely ladies to help too!
Has anyone seen any purple or lilac (but preferably purple) pyjamas in a size 24-26 anywhere?? I'm going into hospital for an op in May and my dressing gown is purple with white polka dots and I would like some PJ's to match. Only stipulation is that they need to be cotton and they need to have sleeves (short preferably) I've driven my Mum and best friend barmy already and its not even Feb yet :D I've exhausted most of the usual suspects already but if anyone has any ideas that would be great.
    Thank you :)

QVC have some that should suit. Plenty of time to try & return if not ok.

Lands End have some lilac pyjama bottoms reduced at the moment, and I can highly recommend them - soooo comfy. They do a long sleeved top to match but they've also got a short sleeved patterned top in their clearance that's got cap sleeves and would match. There's also a cheaper long sleeved top in the clearance section too, that's in the same colour.

Second this, pricey even on sale, but will last forever. Their cotton pj's and t shirts are made of thick, good quality cotton that's hard to find nowadays.

If anyone wants to buy any of the above there's a 20% off offer on ALL SALES items right now, until midnight today (they normally extend through, it's worth trying it after it's expired).

Thanks to you once again TF! They've put a lot of new items in the sale today. I've just bought my husband some bargainous T shirts which weren't there when I looked this morning. Their Tall fitting is perfect for him. Gotta love Lands End :T
