    Carlberg....so sorry about your DD's friend,sad news.

Toots I'll post it up to you then hun, hope you like it. x

Hope Queen Victoria makes a full recovery, pity they dont have cat calpol, that's knock her out for a few hours.:rotfl:

Well today managed to pull the carpet from the stairs, no mean feat seeing as I have the strength of a floppy kitten.:D

Hoovered and cleared up the mess left behind from ancient carpet.

Been out and got some nice jimjams for us all froom the Matalan sale including some lovely soft fluffy socks. Also got a new walking stick.

Bit like this but mine is more purple/black, more goth than old english gardenish, well I like to think so anyway.;) Very comfortable to use.

So decided to defrost the freezer so now need to mop up the mess and put all the food back in.

I've taken some pictures of some stuff to ebay but haven't got any further yet.

Ta for the suggestion Toots ala moving furniture, may ask the guy tomorrow.:D

Thank you one and all for your kind thoughts and wishes today - I am doing ok - hazel was here and she is going to leave the tube as it is for now - with my consent - the new tube is very comfortable - our only concern is the leaking around it but we are going to see if it heals tighter around it in the next day or so if not there is a plan B, C, D and E!!!! Also hoping that no more infection sets in!

decluttered lots of small bits to the bin

gathered all my jewellery into one place to be sorted at a later date

I'm off to bed, I'm quite exhausted and expect to be woken in the night. I think the Queen's head collar is too big as she just slipped it straight off again. She won't let me cover the wound so just going to have to hope she leaves it alone tonight.

Glad I managed to get the kitchen done. Will start on the living room tomorrow. Thanks for all the good wishes x

Just a quick 'good night' as I'm early to bed. I have to be up with the lark in the morning because not only am I looking after my own menagerie, I have to go and feed my neighbour's chickens, cat, rabbit and lovebird too as she is away this week.

Realised that I have spent 4 hours doing animal care stuff today (walking dogs, playing with hens, washing food dishes etc). No wonder I never have time to do any bloomin' housework :rotfl:Although I did manage to declutter about 50 books into the 'car boot sale' pile, and clean out a cupboard in the living room and clear the stairs for the first time in months.

Dusty, I hope Queen Victoria is a good girl tonight! Is there no way you can tighten the head collar at all?

Hugs and good vibes to any poorly people. Snuggle down under the duvet and have a good night's sleep.
