Very Slow Site [merged]

this is painful, and is getting boring now. ive been having bottle neck probles with this site before the upgrade. at least that has now stopped, but the speed of this place at the mo is a nightmare..my pet snail moves quicker

its so nice to know that im not the only one to have that problem! its been going on for aaaaages now. it is somewhat better since the upgrade *when* :rolleyes: the site is running at full speed/capacity..which unfortunately doesnt seem to be very often

It's slow for me aswell. You could make a cup of tea and drink it before it decides it's going to open up the next page for you, and when it comes to posting a reply well ...... :rolleyes:

very strange i was going to make a thread on this, i was very slow for me too on 8meg broadband here, today is a bit better but still slow, and at about 3:30 i for the message above ^^, i would have replied before when i did but it was a little slow

Hey guys.

I assume that MSE are switching servers or doing maintanence or something thus the random slow down!

Its the only thing that would explain it apart from an abnormal amount of users on at one time or a DOS attack I suppose :P

I also assume everything will be fine again in a couple of days or so

Thank you, at least I know it is not my computer, I have ran virus scans thinking I had picked up something nasty. Hope it gets sorted soon, it is rather unusable at times

Nope Definitely an MSE server problem no doubt about it.

Am sure they'll sort it.
