Since the court day I have been living in a bit of a limbo. The relief on Wednesday was huge but now it has worn off. Also this should be the busiest week at work and because I had soooo much time to prepare for it I am actually bored to death. I have had some complications that I inherited from my predesessor that I have been sorting out but without those I don't know what would I be doing. Yes yes it is a team and I need to help the other team members. My closest collague seems adamant that she is on top of things and doesn't let me help but I did help out one colleague who wasn't in today. And to top it all we have been summoned to go to work tomorrow. I made sure I left something for me to do.

Also I have been reading about the new eating plan that I am going to implement. I am thinking of starting on 13th of June. Should hopefully give me enough time to plan. I was playing today with the BMI calculator. My BMI is now 30.82 which puts me in the obese category. Then I was figuring out what would be the ideal weight for me and if the ideal BMI is in between 18.5 and 25 - average being 21.75 - then my ideal weight is 61.4 kg. And then I remembered that most of my adult life before I started putting on weight I was 62 kg. So that is my target. To get there I need to lose 25 kg. (I bet you could quite easily now calculate how much I weigh and also how tall I am.)

I know that BMI is not everything but I do also know that I was healthy at 62 and as I said I kept it for a long time so I think that is my ideal weight.

BF is here as he is looking after DD tomorrow. I am getting very stressed about the exam as no work has been done towards it. So what I need is a miracle (and lot of hard work next week).

Exam is on Thursday. I have Wednesday off for final question practise.

We have to do full day but will get it back as one and half. I came in early so can leave early.

Actually it is quite nice doing work leasurly. New experience for me. I am either flat out or nothing at all type of person.

Spend day today. Just sent BF to Arg0s with DD to get a paddling pool and vegetable steamer. You can probably guess which one is for me and which is for DD.

He is also getting a timer switch so that I can set the steamer up in the morning and when I come home I have freshly steamed veggies waiting for me. I just need to fry/grill/etc the meat/fish/bird/etc choice of the day (unless I have some roast bits ready that I have taken out of the freezer in the morning) and voila, tea is served in super fast time. Please please let it work.

So now I should be studying but I am sooo tired. It was good day at work yesterday. Managed to get all my stuff done without rushing which was good. But since coming home yesterday I haven't been able to shift this tiredness. Better get my books out then...

    Goodluck with the studying!

    :)

Great idea of a timer for the steamer!

    Thank you :)

I have ploughed through fair amount of material but now the WACC defeated me as I am pooped. Having cup of red bush and early bed.

    Ok I have:

    - Packed DD's swimming bag (she did do most of it herself yesterday)
    - Packed her school bag
    - Packed her PE kit
    - Had shower
    - Given DD a shower
    - Taken the rubbish bin out (collection day)
    - Had cooked breakfast
    - Fed DD
    - Packed my lunch
    - Packed my study stuff to take with me
    - Had a cup of coffee
    - Read matrix thread

And I still have [STRIKE]15 [/STRIKE] 8 minutes leftbefore we need to go. I must be ill.

So I have talked about kilos. Time to talk about centimeters. Here picture of my work trousers with my old jeans on top:

    oddbits002.jpg

The difference is 10 cm so that twice is 20 cm which is how much centimeters I need to lose. When looking at the picture It doesn't look quite so bad or impossible to achieve.

Now when I can find my flatbed scanner I can put up some pictures of me when I was at my happiest. When you see the pictures you understand why. I was 13 at the time and don't worry, I don't believe that I could ever be that size again those pictures are going to motivate me to lose weight to do something I want to do but can't if I stay this heavy. Cryptic I know but it all will be revealed. :)

(Oh and when it comes to privacy on the public forum I really don't think anybody can recognise me from those pictures)

Marru what a busy morning for you. I have the builders round. And a bit of college work to do.

The picture is a motivating way to focus on the weight loss. Good luck. I am going to try to walk as much as possible in the summer hols and to eat fruit everyday!
