OMG just found your thread. I dont remember unsubscribing - well i am back. Blooming heck I hope you are not doing all of the squillions of things and i hope you are resting a bit. I just got up sooo embarrassed but weather is glorious here and i am going for a walk to town to enjoy it. (am ignoring the piles of stuff i have to do).

I got up at 11.30 today :) potential MIL cooked lovely lunch and then we went to BF's sister's place so I had my quota of animal cuddles. They have cats, dogs, horses and new born lambs. Heaven!

Off to catch up on forum and then early night for me.

Yesterday was a bit nothing day. But I did get a lot of stitching done. If you have been in Firewalker's diary you probably know that this is my replacement activity.

So today plan is to do 3 first red ones and the first green one from the list. In addition to those I am going to draft an email to ex and send it to BF for comments. If I have energy left I am going to start sorting out my bedroom.

However I promised SW to write about dream lines. Here are mine:

What I would like to have:
    - House with land
    - Housekeeper who cooks and cleans
    - Horses
    - Dogs
    - Cats

What I would like to be:
    - Animal communicator
    - Slim
    - Organised
    - Groomed
    - Singer (jury is still out on this one)

What I would like to do:
    - Train my dogs
    - Learn to ride properly
    - Volunteer in animal shelters
    - Promoting animal welfare
    - Be able to balance activity with rest

I have highlighted first of the haves and first three of my be column as the four most important wants. So I need to think now tasks to do to bring these dreams closer to reality.

I do need help with it. What I am going to do (except I keep putting it off) is to write down the whole sad story and start a thread in DFW to ask advice.

Basically bailiffs tried to get some fees from me that I after researching the net for hours thougt and still think are unlawful. Now I have paid these charges to the council but council still wants me to pay for the court fees. I already paid one lot of court fees and don't understand why I should pay another lot especially as I didn't get a reminder letter nor notification for a second court date. So now I have paid 198 for bailiff fees that I really would like to get back (thinking on going through small claims court except scared that I might made to pay the other side's fees if I lose) and also they are after this £65 court fees plus bailiff charges for the two latest visits. Pah!!

do you know how many liability orders the council have do you know the years they relate to

council tax is governed by The Council Tax (Administration and Enforcement Regulations) 1992 (amended)
bailiffs fees are covered in regulation 45 schedule 5 charges connected with distress of the above regulations

can you tell me what council and bailiff firm you are dealing with my guess would be Equita (send me a PM if you don't want it on the main board)

Have you thought of making a subject access request to the council (there is a cost of £10 for this ) but you would be surprised the information this can cough up

    Yep I got that:

27/3/2009 was their first visit and they charged me:
    Attendance to levy fees 24.50
    Levy fee 36.-
    Redemption of goods fee 24.50

They didn't get into the house but levied my car that was on the drive, they did not get my signature to the documents.

Then on 27/5/2009 They charged me 180.- for VAN fee. At this point I had contacted them and told about my depression but nobody seemed to take any notice. And why would they bring a VAN to take my car? Doesn't make sense.

Also I already have paid council 65.- for court fees at the time this all started but now they want another lot as I went again late with my payments I think it was last spring.
