Just to say that the hedge has been chopped. Now I just need to find someone to take the rubbish away as it it too much for us 2 to do.

So list is still pretty much intact :o

    - Find a light weight platform for hire so that we can tame the monster hedge this weekend didn't need this
    - Start searching best place to hire van from
    - Book haircuts for me and DD
    - Try get moving boxes from freegle
    - Contact rescue re piggies waiting to hear more on Monday
    - Write letter to DCA
    - Leave forwarding address with DD's old school
    - Find out what I need to do re the court case
    - Send cheque to black horse bank
    - Try flock of washing machine and fridge freezer to my present landlords

Bit of a nightmare, estate agent called this morning and told me that the house I was supposed to rent and move in this Friday has been sold

So back to the drawing board. We found four possible properties, two of which had already gone. BF went to see the other two and one of them went right under his nose after he had been to see it and now we are waiting from the other one. We should be first in line to put an application in but they haven't emailed it to me as yet. Problem is that it has been decorated and won't be ready until mid November so I need to put my stuff in storage for couple of weeks and possibly live on BF's narrow boat. I have looked into short term lets and B&Bs and travel lodges and the price range is from £250 up to £400 per week.

Obviously my todo list has gone to potty. Haven't even started calling the utility companies as I thought I was just going to transfer my contracts over to a new address. After DD is in bed tonight I need to tackle the list the best I can and clear as much stuff as possible. Then I need to draw up a new list. Just way too much to do and way too little time to get it all done.

Tomorrow: find out when house available, send application (when I get it), find a storage solution, hire van, hire carpet cleaner, I have someone to come and see the garden for second quote, DD is going for a sleepover, find out when people who came today to see piggy hutch/run can come and pick it up, find out if pigs can go to the rescue and if so when the heck I am going to have time to take them there.

Thanks SW. I think it will be ok in the end.

BF went to see two houses today and have arranged them to send me an application to the one that we managed to be first in line. My friend is taking DD tomorrow afternoon for a sleepover so that will be nice. (Except I will need to drive half an hour there and another half an hour back).

Thursday morning we are going to zoo as a birthday treat for DD. Yes I would love to cancel this but it is too late for that now. Thursday afternoon man is coming to clear the garden (unless the guy who comes tomorrow gives me a better quote). Friday morning it is all hands on deck to pack everything and I am going to get the van to be here by midday. Then we have until Saturday evening to move everything and if we have to come back to finish cleaning we can do that on Sunday. Taking pigs to the rescue need to be slotted somewhere there.

Need to go and get DD to bed so that I can have some chocolate biscuits with cup of tea while watching Master Chef before I tackle my list.

    Day so far:

Both I and DD slept late.

Called estate agent, they are waiting to hear from LL when the house will be ready to move in.

Have been pressing F5 on several property sites but nothing.

Have been looking for B&Bs, self catering, youth hostels and Tr@vel lodge type of thingys but nothing suitable so far. Next I will look into caravan parks.

I have now one and half hours to get my paperwork sorted before I will take DD to her sleep over. Then I need to be back because the piggy hutch and run is going to be picked up. Then I really need to dig into the court papers, I can't do it when DD is here and in the evenings I am so tired that I keep putting it off.

I have managed to squeeze in some online shopping and bought work and school hats for both of us from fleabay. Got them delivered to BF.

Really really need to book storage, van and carpet cleaner today but I would like to hear form the agent before I do any of those.

I did one final push today to try to find somewhere that I could move immediately. Challenge failed. But driving up there wasn't complete waste of time because I was able to go and book a storage space. I have also booked a van hire and told the agency to go ahead with my application to the property I was talking about earlier this week. It should be availabe in mid November so I just need to find something for couple of weeks.

DD is still at my friends. I went there this morning, we went to visit a farm before having lunch at my friend's place and then I left DD there and drove up to see couple of properties. I only ended up seeing one of them as the location to the other one would not have worked. And the one I saw wouldn't have been ready for us to move in immediately I decided to go with the one that I sent the application for, it is better space and location. So as I was so late coming back my friend still has DD.

    Tomorrow:
    - pick DD
    - pack
    - hire carpet cleaner
    - pay garden clearance man
    - call rescue re piggies
    - find temporary accommodation
