Anyone do the TNS car dealershop jobs. Mine is a balls up. No work pack sent so I assumed it was on the Sassie system. It isn;t it is just general guidelines.

Wish they would get their act together and use one system instead of this mixture of Sassie and the OBS.

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has doe a clothes shop for tern where you have to post purchase off? Any ideas how long reimbursement takes? Thanks

They send a cheque by return of post, so just a couple of days (assuming it doesn't get caught up in postal strikes!)

So i've spent £20 of my cash on clothes I didn't actually want (although they are really pretty) and me trying to be savvy I brought sale items so I can't even take them back. Oh well. I've learnt a little lesson there.QUOTE]

Just because they're in the sale, doesn't mean you can't take them back. I just wouldn't hang onto them too long in case they get reduced again or something - get em taken back, girl! (Unless of course you do really want to keep them)

[pedantic hat] they are under no obligation to take anything back if you've simply changed your mind [/pedantic hat]

Worth checking though just in case you can return them.

Has anyone done the photo place for ESA? I'm so confused as to what photos I'm supposed to be buying

I did the Esa photo one yesterday and had to get passport photos done and ask for all 12 prints from the CD they sent me.

The notes make it sound as if you just hand the CD in & they'll give you a time to call back - it say's if they offer to do it in more than an hour and a half, not to bother getting them done.

In the branch I did they said they just use the self-service machines and there are Instant ones or others that can take 30 minutes or an hour.

I opted for the 30 minute service as the Instant had a queue of people waiting - I don't know if this is correct or not but I'll soon find out!

The guy started it off for me and then I finished it and got a receipt, then you hand it to them and pay - it was only a few pounds- then I asked for passport photos to be done while I was there and they were done right away, but I called back for the others later as I had a job a few doors away so it worked out well.

This is only a small branch yet was really busy, and for the passport photos you just sat on a stool in the middle of the shop, with everyone trying to get past!

The guy kept telling me off for laughing! He said I had to look "Neutral" now for passport photos. I asked if I could just smile a little bit & he said no - just look neutral! The more he said that the more I laughed so it took four goes for me to keep my face straight!

I've never seen such horrendous pictures in my life - and they are now in the post to Esa today along with the ones from the CD - they'll take one look at mine & I'll never work for them again!!

I was going to be cheeky and scan the passport ones in before sending them off as I need some for projects coming up - but no way!!!!

I'l get some done where I can smile at least! :D

Please can someone give an idea what to ask from a food menu x

Do you mean where it says you have to ask a food question in a restaurant?
You could ask if you can have a slight change "can I have chips instead of mash?" or if you are feeling skint "would that starter/dessert be big enough to share?"

If you hate a certain food, you could make sure the dish you're ordering doesn't have mushrooms/peppers/onions etc., in. Or make sure a curry/chilli dish isn't too hot/mild depending on your tastes. If they just say the special is ...... and don't elaborate, you could ask what the main ingredients are.

Pretty rubbish camera on the BlackBerry Pearl. Don't know about the others, but may be the same spec. Rosy please share how you got onto the sites on a BB!! If you can remember! I can't get onto Gap or GfK at all. I can get onto RE & Abai but can't accept jobs on them, so I wouldn't recommend it.

I couldn't find any help on it, on any of the BB chat forums or google or anything.

Short visit here this morning to catch up from yesterday. I will look at my BB later and write down what I have my settings on in the Options/Advanced stuff. Changing to another browser Firefox/Internet Explorer/Opera (if those are available to you...the options vary by provider) should help. Click on Internet and then BB menu and options/ Browser Confiuration....You also need to find the combination of settings here and also in the options icon on the handset too...fiddle with these to find what works best for the sites you are visiting.

I don't have the tecno know how or terms but will let you know what my settings are when I have a little time to look...will try tonight and list them .

Have such a busy day with the real life job today but hopefully I will find the time later...family allowing too...must dash late already!

:rotfl:I’m glad I’m not the only one. My photos were awful! I really didn’t want to send them off.

I’m not sure if I have done the job right as they said the pictures would be ready straight away as the shop was empty so I didn’t leave and return.

Possibly not worth an alert, but I've noticed a few petrol/corner shops popping up on GAP. I assume the leftovers that haven't been used as bribes. I picked up a petrol in a city centre earlier and a few more out of the way ones have gone on since.
