  • *sigh* I miss my AM on TNS. They used to read emails and sometimes they even replied. And they generally picked up the phone. It baffles me how they've gone from a handful of AMs to a load of people all in one office, and yet they seem to get nothing done and never answer any emails. What do they do all day?

I'm annoyed, I missed most of the quick supermarkets...but managed to grab one.
I missed all my local ones too as I was out at my daughter's Carol service GRR

I nearly fainted when I realised that there were actually jobs on RE that I could take my children with me! And they don't require me to order 3 different alcoholic drinks at lunchtime!

    You're only allowed 1 or 2 children though, and I have 3! Boo-hoo - not fair :(:D
Blimey, quiet on here today isn't it. Everyone out MS'ing ??

I was putting all the Christmas trees and decorations up. It looks very festive here now

Been getting stuck in to my new set of OU course books - paid for with my MS profits (after tax obv), and being quite scared of the amount of information in them which I'm going to have to remember....and waiting for the first tracking notes to be uploaded, so I can sort out when to do the jobs!
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

  • Is it just me or is the RE site a bit temperamental tonight?

Well I've had a pretty crap week. My grandad had a stroke last Thursday and unfortunately died on Sunday afternoon. One of the only downsides to be self-employed is I lost out on about £90 in cancelled jobs but I was able to be with him when he died and support my gran. The funeral is next Tuesday which is in my full time jobs time so I'll get paid for the time off. I shall be having a good few drinks in his memory this christmas.

In other happier news it's only 9 days to Christmas

Sorry to hear that. It's difficult when people have to leave us, never mind at this time of the year. Thinking of you and your family xx
