Anyone struggling with Grassroots - Clicking on anything after logging in is returning me to the welcome page?

  • Is it just me or is the RE site a bit temperamental tonight?

Been getting stuck in to my new set of OU course books - paid for with my MS profits (after tax obv), and being quite scared of the amount of information in them which I'm going to have to remember....and waiting for the first tracking notes to be uploaded, so I can sort out when to do the jobs!

What are you going to study? I am doing a BA hons in Humanities and Literature with the OU. I am having a year off this year though. It is hard work but very rewarding. It does seem like a lot but as the course unfolds it all comes together. Good luck - the OU is very addictive!! Did you know you can also get vouchers from clubcard rewards for OU?

Well I've had a pretty crap week. My grandad had a stroke last Thursday and unfortunately died on Sunday afternoon. One of the only downsides to be self-employed is I lost out on about £90 in cancelled jobs but I was able to be with him when he died and support my gran. The funeral is next Tuesday which is in my full time jobs time so I'll get paid for the time off. I shall be having a good few drinks in his memory this christmas.

In other happier news it's only 9 days to Christmas

    :xmastree:

Sorry to hear your sad news Lil Me, I'll be thinking of you on Tuesday x

Yup, I'm doing BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences, this course is Oceanography, had 6 months off myself as I didn't much fancy studying OU this winter at the same time as my Assistant Instructor qual with work (thankfully passed the academics first time), the cc vouchers have paid for all but one course so far, but with finance from the OU my MS after tax account has enough to cover the next 12 months of courses without the vouchers (so saving them this year as next year I'll have two residential courses to pay for).
Started off just trying to stop my brain going mushy from under use, so I'll agree with the addictive part!

Another OU fan here! I've done 3/4 of a BA in Business Studies over the last three years. Busy doing a 30 pointer now and got my last 60 pointer to do in Feb, so hopefully I'll graduate in October
Here I go again on my own....
  • Can anyone help me, I did a hotel assignment this week, one of those where you have to go back in and hand the letter and bill for the attention of the hotel manager, but I am confused as they have taken the money out of my account for the accommodation and the food etc, then I called the bank this morning as there was less money in my account than I thought and they are taking another payment from me for the accommodation which means that I have paid twice for the accommodation. Do I ring RE or do I ring the hotel direct?

    Thanks for all your help!!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
ABAi - just did a job for them after a long time not.

Am shocked they send cash through the post.

And on top of that, they only put my postcode on the envelope - 1st line of my address was replaced by the job title.

Am a little concerned as i've done 5 more jobs for them since that one -Cmas post being as it is and their lack of correct addresses means I'm not confident I'm going to get paid for them all.

Anyone else had ABAi money go missing? did they re-issue payment?
