  • GRRR yet again no stamp jobs in my area for gyp. I guess they must rotate the areas!
  • I have a Blackberry Bold and I love it. :heartsmil
It took a whole three days fiddling to get all the settings right for Java etc but I can access everything for MS and accept job alerts. All attachments open including pdfs and I have a fairly large font setting etc as I have too with my rotten eyesight so everything is really readable particularly if you set it to Column View rather than the default page....I find for small audits I can enter info as I go into the spreadsheets and email them off quicker than quick so the job is done! I don't write long reports up on it though as I prefer to sit on the computer when I get home with a cuppa, this forum and an online game of scrabble as distractions when I am stumped for something different to say ....not to mention the ease of cut and paste from the stored stock answers I have gathered over the years.

The Blackberry is great but you just need to have the time to get to know it and figure it all out.....I have no idea about the computer jargon etc but I just played around till I got it to work....The only thing I do find irritating however is I still haven't worked out how to save my passwords for the MS sites. It can be a bit of pain having to type them in each time I log in but to make it easier for myself I have chosen an easy one and it’s the same for most sites.

Sorry to ramble on but I find it so quick and it's much faster than my sister's i-phone service.

Thanks for that Rosy Violet, maybe I should play around a bit but I haven't a clue where to start

Lol... not sure about that then. There are loads of them in Birmingham, but last time I tried to get some mobile internet connection in the city centre I could not get it to work ANYWHERE, I was properly annoyed. Stupid orange.

I was working for the police, answering the non-emergency phones. Not particularly exciting, but better than doing nothing for three months! :P

    Welcome back.

Got loads of reports to write up but can't motivate myself. Too many distractions!!
Me too, haven't got the enthusiam right now, plus the X Factor has just started and my computer keeps crashing to the blue screen :eek::eek: think it needs to go to the PC Dr's. That will cost a bomb. Hey Ho! Anyway had a nice haircut today courtesy of MS'ing so not all bad (even though I couldn't see that job from GR for today at Lakeside:mad:) .
  • I am wanting to start mystery shopping.

Can anyone give me a good web site to start with. Or some tips??

    Thanks

Alright Paul? Welcome to the board.

Take a read of the first few posts of this thread and then come back and ask about any bits you don't understand.

There's lots to take in, so just take it one step at a time. I'd advise you to sign up with GAP (see link on first page) first of all, maybe do 2 or 3 jobs for them and see how it goes.

First piece of advice is have a look at the list on the first page of this thread and sign up for some of the companies there. As a starter I would think about Gapbuster as their jobs and questionaire's are fairly straightforward and easy to fill in.

What to keep in mind is that you don't have to take every job so do try a few and you'll find out which companies suit you and which type of jobs you like and which you hate. Good Luck

Ok Monkey typed quiker than me

X-Factor was fab wasn't it, even if Danni's comment about Danyl was totally uncalled for, unnecessary and spiteful!

Look forward to seeing the hairdo in the week!
