Morning all, want a new phone and thinking of getting a blackberry storm (think GR should pay towards it as its their fault I want one!!) Just wondered if any of you have one and if you are able to use it to log on to RE and abai and view notes, questionnaires and apply for jobs? Thanks :)

Hi everyone. You might not remember me... I haven't been on here for a while, had a break from MSing while I worked full time over the summer!

I just looked on BARE, there are a load of mobile phone store jobs. The brief says you 'record your observations simultaneously on your phone' - does anybody know exactly what this involves?

Can't help you with the Bare brief, but I do remember you - welcome back!

Morning all!! Just thought I would share this with you - went to the cinema last night "undercover" ;) and saw that new Ricky Gervais film, (it was our choice what to see and what a bad choice it was). What a complete load of ********, really boring and quite a few people walked out!! So, if you were thinking of going to see it DON'T, choose something else. Have a good day everyone :j

    Welcome back Jdan

Does anyone get work from Frontline Focus? I'm registered with them but I've never received an email or text saying there are assignments available. Do they cover the whole country? or only a certain area?

Maybe Ricky should stick to TV. I'm doing an undercover tonight, not sure what to see, any recommendations?

You do not need a new phone and cannot justify it just to do mystery shopping young lady :naughty:

I've had a Storm since Jan and to be honest the keypad is quite fiddly - I thought I'd get used to it but I just can't send textx/emails as quickly as I could on a normal keypad.

I can accept assignments on Gfk I think although not on Aba-i. Some briefing notes it doesn't open and some sites it doesn't let you log on to (security which I've not managed to overcome). Some sites I can see the jobs but can't accept them which is worse than not seeing them at all!! LOL!!

I wouldn't be without one now as they're so useful to get job alerts if you're near a pc but I gave up trying to apply for jobs a long time ago as it takes so long anyway to log on to the sites and then is just frustrating if you can't apply for the jobs!!

If I knew what I know now I would still get a Blackberry but not the Storm (also dust gets under the keypad and my N key is temperemental so it will have to go back I think to get cleaned) And I'm very careful with my phones.

  • I am trying to justify buying a laptop, which obviously would be a help with Mystery Shopping.

I have done so many electrical and computer shop MS, yet I still don't know whether a laptop or netbook would be best for me. :o

I hate him - I couldn't understand a word of what he said in The Office as he used to just mutter allt he time. No idea why there was all the hype about it!
