Please could someone who works for First Tracking tell me how it works? I am confused
. I joined at the beginning of this year and finally my cinema has come up but I can't remember how to apply for jobs or what I am applying for
There seem to be three options on the right hand side of the jobs available page, trailer check, spi and mystery shops. How do I know which to apply to and what is spi?

I tend to just email back saying a variation of will do anything at x,y,z cinemas - so far the couple of jobs I've had have been pretty straightforward when the instructions have come through. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I said this once before and was called a troll. It looks like their bosses are presenting staff with a ticked list saying they have failed the mystery shop which is against shop policy. So can i ask a) would the paperwork you guys submit identify the company and yourselves? b) if the member of staff being accused appealled thro a tribunal would the MS company appear in court or the actual MS? as my ex colleagues beleive some of the MS presented are fake and done by management to reduce staffing levels. I knew there was something dodgy when i was there, now they know what it is they can fight it... they know this as one memner of staff failed the mystery shop on their day off!!!!!!!!!!
cheers loopy
Not sure where you work, but I have it on good authority that Asda do their own mystery shops by managers as well as using mystery shoppers.0 -
anyone know the answer to my gfk query from earlier yet about the meals? Ive emailed them now as well but not sure what to do.
I've found this with other jobs from GfK. It states one thing when you apply and something different on the coversheet. If it states Mon - Fri I would guess you have to stick that, even though it may appear at first to offer a wider range of dates / times. This happened to me with the last homeware ones on there and when I read closer it said the only available times were not the ones I'd selected. I didn't manage to contact them as it was over the weekend, so just rearranged my visit to fit. HTH, although probably not what you wanted to hear!0 -

Other companies do as well. Ages ago I worked for an electrical store and we were a new branch. Top managers came in without us knowing that's who they were and checked if we knew things - was good really as we had all just done a month's training. So I think most companies do internal stuff as well as then they can check that staff are getting the training they need to meet customer needs.0 -

Im new to it too! 1st one tomorrow for me. The SPi's you email the email address on the screen and as I have now just gathered when seeing my local for these as they are different types of audits read the first section top left hand side and telephone the numberthats what ive just done. as for ms bit well Ive emailed that person to check what I need to do but didnt get a response so I presume we wait till we see those jobs appear on the board and then go from there.
As for my first contact with them I have been so pleased as tons of emails and stuff letting me know what to do and a phone call so the best company I've had dealings with yet to make sure you know what to do :T0 -

Thanks Ive had a response and they are now changing the date to the one I can do for me. So no idea why the dates didnt appear on the screen as it anytime fri, sat, sun or mon. Anyhow good news as not one Ive done before so glad to be doing different things.
Just also risked it and got a homeware one. I heard before the audits take ages but the notes read differently so can anyone confirm how long these do take? I have lots of other work to do on Sunday so if there is not going realistically be time I either need to cancel the job or rearrange my schedule for next week to fit it in then instead. Everythings difficult here as car was supposed to go to garage today as its undriveable but not going till monday now and dont know how long it will be there  plus partner who should be here next week may now get sent away working again on tuesday for the week (after only being home 1 hour!) so not what i need with so much work and xmas so close :rolleyes:0 -
I love doing the homeware audits. They usually take me 40mins, but there is no cafe at my local one. I find the audits are usually something quite prominent and the briefing notes are now showing pictures which helps. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. My local one takes about the same, no cafe in mine and no toilets. The items to look out for are fairly easy to find, it's just finding staff members to ask questions to thats a little difficult....0 -

I forgot about finding staff, yes that can be a problem. And also thinking of questions to ask in each department. I only did 3 I think, I didn't want to be recognised. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
