Its working now...Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!
There are three types of people in the world, those who can add up and those who can't.0 -
Recenlty I've been getting some dodgy calls at work.. people who think they are phoning me at home. All because I am meant to have completed a 'survey'. I know for certain I've never given my 'work' number out on a survey.
Logged on to RE and noticed my contact details have my 'works' number as my 'home'.
Any chance this is just coincidence and RE aren't selling personal details on ????
or has anyone else had these types of calls?0 -
hmm, how the bloody hell am i meant to do a job for TNS today when the websites down, been trying all morning to get into it, am off to town in 15 mins so wont be able to do it. BAH.
Had to cancel it, could reschedule for tomorrow only but couldnt do it then. 1st job with them too. Oh well.0 -
I have always resisted Gap but have done some recently mainly cos I enjoy the floor show. I am confused though. Do you just get the fee or is the crap meal reimbursed. I enjoy the chicken things but the chips are cold by the time you get them so I usually leave them.
Last one I did soon as I asked for a receipt when I got to the condiment counter there was a gril saying to sit down and she would get my condiments. Then ashe stood beside me the whole meal chatting about had I done all my Xmas shopping etc. Then when I went to put my tray in the bucket she said she would do it as I would be going to the toilet. Now how did she know my bladder was full. Was she psychic.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

Yes the meal is reimbursed. The fee you see for each job on the Job Search page includes the reimbursement for the food.
I've done quite a few of these jobs now and the most I've ever had is a huge smile and hastily added 'sincere parting comment' after asking for a receipt. I've shopped at the restaurant closest to my house twice now though and I've found them to be the most genuine as they seem really friendly and genuine to all the customers and haven't seemed flustered when I've asked for a receipt. It's been refreshing.0 -
Mystery Shoppers want me to pay a tenner to take their test.
Has anyone done this and is it worth it ?
I am loathe to pay someone to give me work but if they are top drawer it isnt a large sum.0 -

I had a couple of calls a few weeks ago from a guy who seemed to be calling from a pub.He had a great property investment for me apparently.
Dont know where he got my details from tho.0 -

I've been a mystery shopper for a while & have never been asked to pay for anything. I'm also a member of a dedicated MS forum & the general consensus is that you should never go with companies that make you pay a fee to work for them. We don't make enough money as it is! :rotfl:Life is a waste of time.
Time is a waste of life.
Get wasted all the time,
And you'll have the time of your life!

Good morning! How is everyone today? I did a catalogue shop and a mobile phone shop yesterday. I managed to do everything I was supposed to do but got a bit panicky when I was timing at the catalogue shop. I found it extremely difficult to check the timings while doing tasks. How do you all manage to do it???
The phone shop was much simpler than I thought though.:D
Anyway, I have nothing booked now so try to do some Xmas shopping in the next week before I travel to my in-law's.:rudolf:0
