thanks i had to release as when i called hotel was fully booked on the nights i could do :( oh well hopefully it means ill see a more suitable one sooner and get that instead!
I have 2 nights away in essex at a £1 a night deal end of jan so knowing my luck it will be the same dates :D i am hoping for tons of ms work whilst im there at lakeside or anywhere else nearby so the dearest thing we might need to actually pay for will be the toll for the toll bridge to go from kent to essex and vice versa... i am such a cheap skate :o

Sorry Angel, I replied before I read the rest of the thread :o. Well have a good time on your cheap deal - they are always the best :) If you get some jobs from React, the toll will be covered too :D

I recently did 2 x fat 'n' frumpy clothes jobs for React. One Lakeside, one Bluewater. I claimed £1.50 toll but just received my pay advice and they've deducted it

Just had a query from one of our friendly troublesome companies - please elaborate on your yes or no answer to which you answered no. !!!!!! the question did not need any further explaining being an absent or present type question.

Meh at least I have got a fair way through todays report write ups even though it feels like I've never sat still all day!
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Can anyone help - i have been allocated a survey for e digital research. I have not done any jobs for this company before. I am being asked to make a purchase, receive it and then return it.
Does anyone know if they reimburse you for delivery charges at all?

    Thanks.

I have just done three for them and was out of practice with being crafty lol because I haven't applied for any for a few months. It soon came back though in true MSE style :p.

    1. See if you can get free delivery by spending eg over £25. If you can support the initial payout. Do choose a light weight item if you have to pay for the return.
    2. Do a google for voucher codes for free delivery/returns/discounts for the company you are doing. It is surprising what you can find.
    3. See if you can collect and/or return to store.

It all helps to maximise profit. I have just done three and the only payout (apart from the purchase, which will come back) is one return and I have got a very lightweight item which won't cost much. HTH

I'd be fuming too, the extra expenses is a complete farce then?? The toll was only supposed to be in place until the tunnels and then the bridge was paid for but that soon got forgotten. I am down Essex/Kent too quite often. My parents live in Essex (half hour from bridge/tunnel) and my ex-in laws live in Kent, near Ashford. We will have to meet up when Angel comes down for a visit! (And anyone else too of course :) )

i would just put stuff you actually saw in that box and then they can't question you on why you think that. maybe they had the speakers stored near the desk or on display  i waited less than two mins in both my stores.

i would leave it for abai or the company to work out what went on unless you saw something obvious! the store will have some explaining to do! :rotfl:

Yes less than 2 min seems right. 20-25 sec just seems fishy to me. But guess not for me say as they can figure out that themselves. The whole process from entering the queue to collecting goods took only 3 min 7 seconds.

Anyone done or doing any calls for TNS re cars? Please PM me, I'm stuck and TNS are not answering my email, I rang them and was told to put it all in email, and someone would reply. The lady I spoke to really needed some customer service skills, maybe they should ms their own staff!

Sorry, haven't done the cars but just wanted to rant!!
TNS are really going down in my rankings. Since the AMs have gone their customer service is rubbish. If you phone, they tell you to email, then they don't read the emails, you email again, inbetween you are getting automated emails about the job and then when they do bother to reply, it is totally irrelevant. I have had real hastle with them this last week and haven't heard from them since the last email I sent, telling them they were going downhill fast. I am almost at the point of de-registering and they used to be tip top.

    Maybe someone can help please.

If I buy a weekly tube ticket for my normal 9-5 job and I do MS a couple of times in the evening and weekends, how much of my tube ticket can I offset against any income I recieve from MS before having to pay tax ?

Please advise and thank you for your help.

I emailed them and asked, G*p process payments on or around the 27th of every month, no exception for December either.

I know it says around 25th of each month on their website, but my Gap money goes in between the 20th & 22nd of every month, and has done for the last couple of years.

Hopefully just in time for Christmas then..................:j
