Anyone know why I have never had a single assignment from Gfk or GR? I live right next to Lakeside and Bluewater, along with an easy connection into London... not sure if it's my age (under 20?).

It might be but I would phone them. Both companies are phone friendly lol. I live in the West Midlands and have been with GR for a year now and have only done 4 jobs. I have missed a few but there just aren't that many in my area.
Have you checked your profiles to which areas you have registered?

This ms company don't normally ask for what is on either side of the shop you visit. It is not on the paperwork, but when I have tried to enter the results on the website it has asked me what is to the right and left of the store.

Sorry this doesn't help this time, but I've got into the habit of writing down what is left and right on every job I do. It helps when things like this happen, and stops me forgetting on jobs when you do need it!
Here I go again on my own....

I had the same problem months ago and gave up. Ive just retried and it is just the same for me as well  As for PIP that have been in mentioned in here tonight I use firefox (I do not get an error message though) and this was the other company I was unable to join months ago. Just tried again and it is just the same. Fill in the application form correctly click on continue and it will not go any further and no error message either. If anyone can help with either company so I can actually join I would greatly appreciate it :o

    Hi angel
I have signed up for Retail Maxim but I can't remember the form so no use on that one I'm afraid.
As for PIP, I had no end of trouble, tried all sorts of things. Evntually I emailed them and spoke to them on the phone too. I was asked which Browser and version I used (Internet Explorer 8) . I got this email back:

Please open internet explorer and the go to tools, and then click
'compatibility mode' the form should now submit for you.

Mine was actually listed in tools as 'Compatiblity view' but this did work and I was able to submit the form. Shame it won't work on the assignment LOL. Try it and if you have no joy then I have a contact name and telephone number for IT Technical Support that I can PM you x

Does anyone know whats the best way to find out what is the right and left of the store you have just visited? I am outside of london, so I dont have google street view yet.

Is it on a retail park or high st? Can you remember any of the other stores close by? If so get their number, and call them. I have rang other places and asked them. May sound like a daft question to them, but just say you were having a discussion with your other half or something. It's worked for me.

I like the RE website. They give you feedback on your assignment and it is easy to track when you are going to get paid etc.

I have no feedback from a Gapbuster job I did. I wish gapbuster website was more like RE.

I agree, I like to keep track of my payment status and know how my output was received, so RE is pretty good. Only gripe I have with them is that their site can be soooo slow sometimes.

I completed a Gap assignment last week but realised I made a mistake only after submitting the form! I contacted them via an enquiry form on their website about it but haven't heard a peep from them. A bit worried if all is ok. Hope no news is good news with Gap!

just wondered what people do when they think they are recognised as a mystery shopper - at what point do you let the mystery shopping company know (if you do). I did a mystery shop yesterday and the service was excellent etc, just made me wonder if they knew I was the mystery shopper but couldnt be certain. If they realised and confirmed with you about being a mystery shopper (I know you arent meant to say you are but keeping a straight face at times is hard:D )
