Why not just do the simple thing and change your preferences on email notifications on their website?

ok going to put this in the alerts thread as well for people who are out so i hope thats ok and im not breaking the rules

really really depressingly I am having to release a hotel job for RE (London). Out of the 6 dates given the 4 I can do are fully booked. Dates they have rooms are this Friday and Sunday only. I am sooo gutted but hope one of you gets lucky and has a nice time away. I presume that once I release it it will appear instantly in RE so if not I appologise in here for the use of the alerts thread

No! Telling me that it was available (again!). If they'd assigned it to me in the first place it wouldn't have become available again. Morons.

Just seen that, AFTER I've emailed them, but the frustration still stands so I don't wanna deal with them anymore!

I know what you mean monkey, they phoned me while I was out earlier today and tried to pressurise me into a job that's over an hour away (and all country roads so rotten journey), and when I said a firm NO they got quite nasty. I wouldn't mind but out of the6 jobs I applied for recently I got a grand total of...... Zero :mad: so I didn't particularly feel like doing them a favour:rolleyes:.

As for ESA I did my first two assignments for them on 21st and 22nd of last month. I have seen that others have mentioned pay going in today. I have read the notes about pay and am I right to presume that I will not get this now until January? I am hoping I am wrong as that is a very long wait...

As for ESA yes they get funny with you Two of the other jobs I had booked I could not do on the set date due to really bad weather and when finally getting to the location not being able to park - it was a nightmare day so i was relieved to at least get 1 out of the 3 completed for them. I emailed them the moment I got in and said I could do the other 2 first thing the next day IF I had a response. I didnt so didnt do them obviously and they got really nasty with me too and implied I should have just done them without getting new permission..... obviously as we all know if I had done that it would have been wrong and Id not have got paid for them either So I am hoping my next batch of work and experience with them will be better.

Thats kind of you to give us a heads up, Im keeping an eye out as Im supposed to be going to a friends party in London on Sat but can only go if I can find somewhere to stay & I cant afford a hotel! Sorry to hear you couldnt do it

we could have done it if the rooms werent fully booked. you mentioned the party is Sat but this particular hotel they are fully booked apart from Fri and Sun so not sure if that will help you? if not hope you do find something
