These TNS jobs are dangerous lol....I fell in love with a new car on one of their assignments, and just had to have it. It's slightly outweighed the fee and my hubby had banned me from anymore car visits :D.

 at least my phone was a bit cheaper lol & I managed to get a good contract by playing Tmob off against voda :D

Has anyone seen the whole load of "shopping channel" jobs on Gfk? Decent fee but you have to pay delivery and return postage. That could significantly eat into the fee!

I got scoops and toppings but they tasted dire  i ate them anyhow :)))) Hope you enjoyed the movie our room was utterly freezing and the film was hours and hours so we were shivering as we left so not good at all :o so came home for a huge hot chocolate to try and warm up... we will avoid that screen number from now on as never been cold at that cinema before.

You had the exact opposite experience to us, our screen was so hot and stuffy I had to go and buy water part way through because I was getting headachy. Staff member I complained to just said "Oh yeah, they turned the heating up for some reason..." - you don't say!!!
Water was almost £2.50 each . No way would I have spent that normally so I put it in as special expenses .... watch this space, as they say.

Ooh I think I saw someone at my toddler group with one of these yesterday. It has the stylus on doesn't it. Thanks for posting, is there any sites you can't use it for? I see it has a camera is the quality good when you send them in emails? Sorry about all questions, I don't know much about phones! Maybe I should do a few more phone jobs! :j

Lol no probs with the questions. I didn't know either till I did the job & the SA gave me a fab demo of all the features. I fell in love in love :heartpuls . Yes, it is a touchscreen phone & it has a stylus, which is very easy to get used to. I have used it on RE, GFK, ESA, REACT, ABAi Bare, Tern and TNS for browsing the jobs, picking up jobs, viewing briefs etc. I don't use it to submit questionnaires though. I have been on GAP with it but haven't tried to do anything yet. I haven't tried GR or OC yet. I have got adobe reader LE and Quick office, both of which work well. The camera is great, 3.2m.pixels IIRC and it takes fab pics. I don't use my 'old' camera now, just this one. It comes with a USB lead so its just drag & drop to transfer. Idiot proof :o
I haven't set up the email facility yet but I don't see why it wouldn't work with pics. I just have my aol email bookmarked & use that. The internet loads a bit slow using Tmobile internet but opera mini is fast and the wifi is even quicker. Ok I'll shut up now :D. Bet you wished you hadn't asked :rotfl:

  • Hi guys, great thread, I had already signed up to various mystery shopping companies, in the last few years, but the opening post provided invaluable to expand my profiles :) Some really good insights as well into various aspects of MS, I've read a few interesting things on video shopping to and what that entails on these forums.

One question, there is only one company I'm finding it impossible to sign up to, it's driving me nuts it really is!

I've worked out how to sign up to all the aba-i clients, everything and everyone, apart from maxim retail. I cannot for the life of me work out the 6 questions you have to answer on the sign up! I don't see the answers in the FAQs anywhere, and I am sure I am answering them right (well clearly not so) but is there an answer that goes against my previous MS experience? I just can't work out which of the 6 questions I'm getting wrong, it's like a lottery otherwise!

Doing my first TNS Supermarket on Thurs and it's so confusing, from looking at the notes I'm still not sure what I should be doing. Did anyone else have this problem or am I just being thick?

    LOL Not pants at all!
Thanks for your help. Had "techie" husband have a look and he thinks it's an error in the writing of the page. I have to ring them tomorrow. I had no end of trouble getting my original app form to submit, they don't seem to like IE 8! He had to go away, look some stuff up at get back to me.
I'm just soooo cross it's taken up so much of my day today x
