Me too, I have replied that I would do job again - double bubble!! Not heard anything back yet though  Think we might hear by 5pm tonight, it said something about that time in the email :o Fingers crossed

My assumption on reading the email was the job is a given if you have emailed to say you will do it again. They have put mine on my booked visit page and the email clearly says "If we don’t hear back from you by 5pm tomorrow we will unbook this visit"...so if you have emailed, the job is yours - simples!:j

On another note does anyone have experience of restaurants who take items in the brief off the bill? Specifically RE.

Just did a posh restaurant where I got my drink 1hr 15 mins after we sat down. Then waited another 30 mins between desserts being taken away and coffee being ordered to the coffee actually arriving (I knew my drink was being comped so ordered another to get the 2 drink minimum) then another 30 mins after that to get the bill. However the server was nice enough to take my drink, the coffee and our desserts off the bill without telling us so we're now 1 drink short.

I know people have had similar experiences in gyp pizza places but just wondered how RE are about it?

I've had this happen twice on jobs with RE. In fact on 1 job they wouldn't let me pay any of the bill because the service and food was so bad. Just make sure you explain it in the report and you shouldn't have any problems with getting paid. At the end of the day, in a real life scenario you're hardly likely to object to something being taken off the bill, so they can't expect you to object on a MS job, unless you want to draw attention to yourself!
  • If anybody does any covert stuff for that 'unnamed' company can you PM me please?

    Thanks

Yes, you're right!! I just reread the email and that's exactly it! I must admit I didn't study it too closely last night as it was manic in my house as usual :D thanks Rosy Violet :T

Could someone let me know what time during a weekday we can do this? I did this on a weekend last time but I didn't know what the times were for a weekday. Can't find any times on the assignment details.

Sent you a pm with the times. Full list of all times is usually in the full briefing notes attached to the confirmation email.

Nope, it's still pretty bad. Went to dentist yesterday and it's an infection in my wisdom tooth dso I've got some antibiotics.

Had a proper night's sleep last night though (albeit painkillers have worn off now so couldn't lounge in bed for another couple of hours, like I'd prefer!), the first time this week! :j

But yeah, I wasn't feling the toothache yesterday evening, so enjoyed the chicken job, though it was a little too greasy.

Oooo infections are painful arent they ... hope it clears up soon now youve got antibiotics.

ScottiesMum could write 'the rough guide to covert' with all those pms.

(I did think about calling it 'The Dummies guide to' but thought that a little rude and didn't want any one to tell me off)

  • Is anyone else finding RE slow in moving reports from pending? I've had one pending since Sat 3rd, once since Tues 6th (I suppose that one's not long :) ). Usually only takes a day or so for me.
