Tell you what, shall we add it to the 2nd post about RE FAQs?

Sorry, sorry, just trying to get people to look for the answer first, otherwise all that work has gone to waste. We don't mind helping, honest, but it can get repetitive and everyone seemed to think FAQs were a good idea when first suggested....

So please can we urge people to look there, before asking, please?

On a similar note, should we add in about taking kids on jobs somewhere in the FAQs? Maybe, along the lines we've discussed here, i.e. a def no-no for Gap etc.?

On my first glance I mis-read cte1111s post and thought they meant to release the job which is covered in the 3rd post, but it's not the same and isn't covered in the FAQs so it was a fair question, took me a little time to find where to do it.

Definitely agree about adding the kids questions to the FAQs though.

Amusingly another forum I go on gets the same questions over and over again (abai clients anyone??) so much so the owner of the site has put his reply to the types of questions in his signature. I'd be tempted to do this if I didn't post in other parts of the forum.
  • Did a chicken job today for gyp. YUK ! never again. Tho saying that the service was great. One slight problem tho....times were from 12pm to 3. I got in at 12 on the dot but the receipt time was out and said 11.55am!! :( ive explained in the notes) do you think i will still get paid??

I would have thought so, I've had this before when the clocks went forward/back and they paid up. Fingers crossed!

I've had this on more than one occasion with the burger jobs and advice from Gyp was to put in comment box and they have paid up each time.

AAAAAARRRRGGGGG nothing more annoying than trying to save an RE "explain your visit from start to finish" and it crashing.

Back to 74% even though I had finished it!
  • Aww, im feeling left out of the Tern video thing too :(

Quick question for anyone who's about,
I'm doing a dry cleaners for RE tomorrow and I've never had anything dry cleaned before. :o I'm planning on taking the item of clothing in the morning, does anyone know how long these things take? Its only just occured to me to think about this, I'm presuming they can do it on the same day, RE will release the job if the results aren't in in 24 hours right? I'm going away for the weekend tomorrow night so I won't be able to go back til monday to pick it up.

    TIA x

I did this visit and thought the same thing but cleaners told me I can't collect the item until monday, so I emailed RE and the reply I got was that you don't need to fill in the results until after you have collected the item (even if it's more than 24 hours after first visit) but if you want to you can complete the first half, save it, and then complete the second half when you have collected the item (whenever this may be).
  • I got an invite through today for Watford - yey!! :j

I can only make it for about 2pm so I hope I don't get stuck in traffic!!
  • Been reading all the information for a while, it all sounds great !! I work part time in a city centre and want to know which companies best to register with ? Would prefer to do jobs such as banks, coffee shops etc. Can you choose the day and time you wish to visit ? This would mean I could do them on my lunch hour.

Sign up to the agencies on the first page of this thread. There are a wide variety of assignments which you would be able to fit into a lunch time including banks, etc. The jobs are offered and you choose whether or not you want to do it. Some have specific time and day requirements which you have to adhere to. Once you have accepted a job you have agreed to complete it exactly to brief and on time. If you are fully committed and totally reliable then you get offered regular work...mess the agency around and you have no hope!
