I've taken my child with me in a buggy on an opticians job as the brief didn't state that I couldn't take anyone with me. Like CTE111 says, if it states on the brief not to take anyone, DONT.

They usually check their CCTV to try and recognise their mystery shoppers and if you have broken the agreement by taking a child/buggy with you then you won't get paid.

A buggy or baby in a pram is still classed as taking someone with you.

I never take my almost 3 year old son with me on my MS - we're trying to wean him off the buggy and without it he just runs off at any opportunity so that's the last thing I'd need when doing a MS! I always try to do them on one of the 2 days he's at nursery or when I know my husband can look after him.

Wouldnt be without mine - never miss an alert or email !

Speaking of which, there doesn't appear to be many jobs around at the moment - or is it just I'm too old and in the wrong place all the time  ?

Had a few but not even bothering with the fast food any more. Winding down at the moment as my dear mum has to go for op next Thurs as she has bowel cancer. Likely to be several months before she is back to any sort of normal so my new role will be as nurse and carer. Will call in here in the evenings though to "see" my friends.
I'm wondering why a round pizza comes in a square box -

Did a Mobile Phone shop, and REALLY liked the Blueberry I was demonstrated . . Me thinks Chrimbo Pressie ! :T Wonder if GR will pay towards reimbursement ! ;)

I did a phone shop last year, took home the brochure they'd written their name on, entered a competition on it & won the phone :T (flogged it on ebay for £150, best paid mystery shop yet :))

I guess it depends which company you are with, check with them to be sure. The one I am with always states directly in the notes 'you must go alone' if they dont want you taking anyone with you. If they don't say this then I take my 2 year old in his buggy. I don't mention him in the mystery shop report unless something significant happens, like they make an effort to chat to him.
I know with my company, if I don't do as they say, they can refuse to pay me! So I always check if not sure.

    Aww, sorry to hear that.
  • Did anyone get an email from ABAI about asking if you'd like to do your mystery shop again due to a system error?
