  • I agree. RE reports tend to be extremely long winded.

    Hi all,

Horrible day today, should have stayed in bed. Did first job fine, then car broke down, that cost £100. Had to cancel next job with TNS. Eventually got to third job and the shop had closed down . Luckily it was for GR & they are paying me without any hesitation. Also sat on my glasses & had to get them sorted . Hopefully, last job of the day, Italian meal with DH tonight, will go well. I need it .
Need to contact TNS cos I cancelled a phone shop the other day after reading the brief & questionnaire. It would have cost me my fee just to print the visit details!

Also, I have just joined ESA after seeing all the alerts lol. I presume you apply and they let you know if you have been sucessful?

    Thanks in advance x

Thanks for the replies about RE. Certainly the longest report I've had to do for one of the smaller fees. Won't give up on them just yet as they seem to have a few jobs in my area. Guess this is where jobbingmusician's cut and paste thread comes in handy. Thanks jm.

C'mon France. A 2-0 win will make the report worth it.

Re the last alert, I've got 5 clients on ABBA but none that could be described as a hardware shop. Can someone give me a clue please?

I was trying to think of how to describe this to post my first alert but was beaten to it. The one I have jobs for is a sort of department store, but cheap, hope that doesn't give it away.

There's been something weird going on with my local gapburgers. I keep being offered reciepts. I always really with 'umm, yeah, please' and a surprised look.

Same thing happened to me in my local one, maybe I should stop shopping it for a while!

I have been registered with them for a year now and had nothing whatsoever :(. Maybe it is time to do some MS housework and get rid of a few companies! I keep saying that about RE & GAP but then I like the stamp & petrol shops with GAP and the kitchen & record shops with RE (despite them wanting you to write a book about each visit ). I am definitely more picky now, I must admit lol. There are quite a few companies out there who are willing to pay reasonably and request a comprehensive but sensible report!

I have been with them for about a year and all I have ever seen is the posh hair salon jobs, go and get your hair cut and report back! They do have a lot of jobs in Scotland apparently, as when there were some alerts recently I emailed them and asked why I couldn't see any of the jobs and I was told that the alerts were for jobs all in the Scottish area!! Not good for me, I am in the South East LOL! Stick with them, something will turn up eventually. HTH:o
