Usually about 3 weeks I think. I did one on 21 Oct and haven't received the gift card yet. I'll chase them up if its not here by the end of the week.

Maybe that's why they autonmatically sack people from doing the burger jobs if they give a bad report? To discourage ex-employees from doing exactly that?

I got that call too - at 11:50, just as I was about to leave to do a Hotel overnight stay.

They'd already called me the day before, but I was in the middle of finishing off a job and full of paint! She asked if I could leave that and come back to it!! Er - no!

Then it was the same girl who called yesterday, so I said sorry, just on my way out and will be away overnight - she asked if I could do these three jobs on the way. I explained that I don't drive and it wouldn't be easy to get to them all and then to where the Hotel was - all completely different parts of Glasgow as you say Drea! I actually nearly got in touch with you to let you know they were after someone, but I would have missed my train, then when I was on the train I forgot!!

I said I could do one of them on my way back today, as it was in the city centre, and one of my trains was from there, so she said if she couldn't find anyone she would let me know. Didn't hear anything so she obviously found someone in the end! I'm on the train now and stopping off on the way to do a corner shop one for gap, which will just take a few minutes.

I could have done them if they'd have let me know in plenty of time, and I would have done the Hotel stay tonight or tomorrow.

In the past they've given a bit of notice at least, but with this wave they seem to be on the last minute with them all. :rolleyes:

PS Just noticed I've got one of the coffee jobs from Bare - someone was asking a couple of days ago about them, so they must be getting allocated now.

I'd kill for a hotel job.....I could ask family to mind the kids overnight and claim 'work' as the reason! I don't even know who does them over here. (Northern Ireland)

Boo, didn't get one of the coffee jobs with Bare. They've disappeared from my applications so they are definitely allocating them today.

Re the last alert, I've got 5 clients on ABBA but none that could be described as a hardware shop. Can someone give me a clue please?

Well I've just done my first job for RE. A bookies visit. The visit was all nice and quick but the questionnaire took forever. Seemed to want comments on everything. Is this normal for RE or is just that bookies? Not sure if it's worth it. Unless my bet comes up!

RE are the worse for reports I think !
