it seems from all the thanks that you and browntoa have received that you are the people to ask for help with unlocking my phone (if you would bee so kind!)
i have a never used nokia 3220 on virgin payasyougo but i want to change it so i can use it with my old 02 sim, but i have to be honest and say that i'm completely rubbish at anything computery - i think i have a divergent mind and computers like convergent minds, or i'm just a bit stupid! - and having looked at the free sites that do it for me; trycktill didn't give me any codes and unlockme.com didn't list a nokia 3220?
i've thought about getting it done via a cable but as i live out in the sticks it means a lengthy trek into the nearest big town and then the cloak and dagger act to find someone who can do it, and then i've heard that it can ruin a phone if it's not done properly..
anyway, i thought i'd ask you and browntoa first because you sound sort of trustworthy!

the last 2 3220 ive done on easy mbo havent unlocked by code so i think they have changed some settings.
i need to find new ones before i can do codes

insert a different sim
use the * key to enter the W - P and +. push twice for the +, 3 times for the P and so on.
dont enter spaces
After you enter the code you should get a message which hopefully says 'Restriction Removed' or something like that
what was the error msg?
