I have a N70 on Orange that I want to unlock. OBviously, I cannot use the above method of buying an Orange SIM. Do any other networks do similar? Or better, can anyone give me an unlock code?

You will only get a code for this handset from Orange!

as it says in the first post, only Orange can unlock it...either the contract owner asks for a code or you buy an orange sim and try the other method

Hi there ....ahhh - I wonder if I am going to have a problem then - dont know if you can help me.... The current phone I use (I am leaving Orange) was given to me by daughter - now in Australia - and it is a Nokia7610 Orange. I was not the original owner is that right if it was given to me?? Hubbie could give me however, his old Nokia 6201 (he thinks it is) which does not have an Orange badge on it - but his network was Vodaphone (but when I tried my simcard in it altho all my numbers came up etc, Vodaphone came up ..... not Orange .... we couldnot use it to make calls to try it out cos there was not coverage!! Anyway - will I be able to get my Orange phone unlocked do you think? And also the other Nokia? Any help given gratefully received. Thank you.

we should be able to do the 7610 by code
are you sure the other one is 6201? not heard of this model 6021 maybe?
