hi there i need an unlocking code for my nokia 6111, i got itm on holiday from a mate he found it and i got it from him. it worked in with my greek sim but when i landede back in britain it said sim card registration failed,

its not locked - its barred and there is no way to legally unbarr it

Anyone got any ideas? Friend has a Nokia N70 on Orange, she's just upgraded and sold the N70 to someone at work who's on O2 - they've taken it somewhere to get it unlocked, but been told there's something difficult about unlocking an N70. Does anyone have any knowledge or advice?

only Orange can unlock it, they charge £20 if the owner speaks to customer service

alternate method that is meant to work

Orange ask where you had purchased the phone from and the name of the seller but other than that no problems.

1.) buy phone
2.) buy Orange sim (£1 online)
3.) register imei with sim by calling 08000790006
4.) wait for phone to activate
5.) call orange on 450
6.) Request unlock code
7.) upload £20 to prepaid balance
8.) Wait few days for code
