That was my third attempt (I tried codes 1 and 7 on trycktill before this one)
It doesn't ask for any restriction code, it initially said sim registration failed when I put the orange sim in, I then put the code in and got a beep, and 'Code error' come up (the same as the times before).

it is unlocked then, otherwise it would say "enter restriction code"
sim reg failed means either the phone is faulty, the phone is barred, or you havent registered the orange sim.
does the sim work ok on another phone?
does the o2 sim make and receive calls ok on this phone?

For an after school club where i work - we have switched to 1 provider but cant get these damn things unlocked!! PLEASE HELP!!! thanks.
